When is superfast fibre not all that fast

    Superfast is 30Mb or better , Hyperfast is 300Mb or better , FTTC  can deliver 80Mb so is a Superfast system, FTTP can deliver 1Gb , so is a Hyperfast system, people don’t have to have Hyperfast speeds on FTTP unless they want to , the basic speed on FTTC is 40Mb so is Superfast , but FTTC is rate adaptive so some on FTTC may get less than 40Mb if line line conditions are such that the line rate is reduced to under 40.
    Average speeds are not actual speeds , I’m on Fibre2 and get 80Mb , even though advertising for F2 states the average is 63Mb ,
