Evening all!Hope you day has gone ok at the horsepiddle ionafan.
Lake swim and fun should not even be in the same sentence Narco!
I love Calla lilies, I had them as my wedding flowers in Gib. I always thought they were a warm climate flower (no idea why) so might have to try them. I take it they are not poisonous to animals in the same way as lilies are?It was a lovely morning here so walked to work in the sunshine. Luckily DD rang and said did I want picking up as she was going to be on her way home at about the right time, just as well as it started to rain as I came out of the door and it’s still tipping down.
Dinner is done and all cleared away with the help of DH and DD 😱.

Well I found out today what the appointment I am supposed to have missed was.. and it was utterly pointless. I spoke to the service.. pain management clinic.. hilarious.. 'well we offer acuuncture and yoga' ... me doing yoga.. I was in fits.. I can't get on the floor unless I fell there and I definitely cannot get up.. and pokey needles just gives me the ick.. what an utterl0y pointles service.. 'but we are holistic' she says.. 'and I want medication restoring and new bones' replied I!! The referral went in last August.. in November the referral diappeared off the online system. In December I messaged the surgery and asked what was happening since it was gone. The phone number they gave was not correct and so I emailed them 2 weeks ago.. not knowing what the service offered and they rang me back today and said they sent an appointment for October and I never went.. but the surgery would have known if that was the case in December and the online system would have shown they had sent an appointment and it did not it just said they hadn't reviewed it yet.. so they are totally lying. Regardless I have wasted another 8 months waiting for this confirmation. I rang DR's today.. pointless as they are striking for the next 4 days and haven't seen a patient in 3 years whch I also complained about.. I am so fed up of them thinking it is ok to waste my time.
I have knitted 4 squares for EC's baby blanket and finished the 5th hat. I cooked food and loaded the DW and brought lanry in before the sky upended the water table on it! It is blowing a hoolie here.
I've drugged a migraine and not done anything else all day because my brain hurts. OH was working or I would have put myself in bed for the afternoon.
I may be having the grandbeasts tomorrow before DD1 has a mental breakdown.. Jazzles is being a menace, DD1 has a hosital appointment and Spam is at dentist.
OH has put some utter trash on to watch.. I have no idea what it is but it is B&W and utter rubbish.. and he is playing warcraft and not even looking at it.. I might just go for a shower.. sometimes he is incredibly annoying.

So for today, I have the paid stuff and will also focus on bathrooms as they don’t take too long…
gym done
wm x 1 run and on airer
litter trays refreshed
quick 10 mins admin ( another thing to get back on top of !)

Another one who has been at the paid stuff for a challenging day. Dinner - had to include a bag of defrosted prawns - was paella. Absolutely nothing like paella by the time I had done with it, but a tasty rice / veggie / prawn concoction nonetheless. WULTD, kitchen tidied, and - result - ironing pile cleared.Weather has been a right mix today - thunder, lightening, hail, sunshine, gales and lashings of rain. That all made for a fun drive home.6

- WUDUPA
- Picked bones out of chicken carcass and veg I'd pressure cooked yesterday for soup, soup/stock now in freezer
- Frantically trying to keep up with work, it just keeps piling up and I've had a very social few weeks/weekends which have delayed everything. Assessed the 2nd twin today......interesting.
- went to Mr A on the way home from uni, very wet everywhere. Apparently we had a hailstorm this afternoon and the car 'snowflake' temperature warning bleeped at me on the way home.
- starting to move a few seedlings in and out of the greenhouse on a daily basis now, poor things must have had a shock today.
About to do a bit more report writing.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7 -
