    YOLO.

Just go for it, you can wonder if it's justified whilst grinning your face off at the acceleration.
    I can't afford Performance model.

Even the basic TM3 can get from 0-60 in 6 seconds. That'll be plenty fast enough!
I would go for a used TM3 SR too. The only thing that might put me off is they will be coming out of warranty at 4 years old so are they going to be reasonably cheap to maintain? Could there be expensive electrical issues as they get older?

is there an independent specialist near to you?

The supercharger network is a massive advantage they have over all other EVs until at least another 5 years when the charging infrastructure should be better.

Unless you're regularly doing big mileages in one time or don't have facilities available at home, the supercharger network isn't really that much of an advantage.

My Ioniq in the time I've owned it has been rapid charged a handful of times (all during a single trip). For most drivers the range offered (in my case about 200mi if kept off motorways and driven reasonably sensibly) is perfectly adequate for home charging alone, paired with the occasional non-rapid charge when out and about on a longer distance run.

  • I prefer Touareg 2020, I have recently bought
yeah, it isn't the "money-saving" car but the level of comfort and also the ability to drive it on any road is priceless

What roads can't you drive with other cars?

    Thanks.
We should be collecting the car next Friday.  7 sleeps to go.

Arguably, a brand new car is not MSE, but we got a keen offer overall so I am satisfied with the price we paid.  The number plate is rather more of an extravagance that has questionable justification, but I've considered that plate ever since the "16" was available.

    Life is for living.

I have no desire to be the richest in the graveyard.

  • Arguably, a brand new car is not MSE,
Money saving to me isn't about buying the cheapest  or even the "best value".
Money saving is about buying what you want at the best price you can get it.

I drive old bangers, even when i had the money to buy better, I'm happy with that.
But I only drive autos, so even if I see an amazing value manual that's really cheap, I wouldn't buy it as it's not what I want.

And with the plate, although you will never know, it might well  pay for itself  by not losing you jobs when a 23 plate would have.
