DF hit Mr T's at 8am this morning.....now only veg & bread to get at weekend, meat to collect from butchers and we're done - can barricade the doors then!

I am shatterred today! took erin to see enchanted at pictures last night (not highly recommended...zzz) but we didn't get to see it til half eight showing so went for pizza and did a little xmas shopping until it started. Very late home, and had sh*t to do at home so didn't get to bed until 1am....

Working today but so cannot be bothered!

Morning! I'm still full of cold and very fed up of feeling poorly

On a really exciting note I have just applied for a job .... to be an OU tutor. Fingers crossed! It's not that well paid, but I would like to do it for the experience more than anything. Closing date isn't until the end of January so I am not expecting to hear anything yet. In fact, I aren't expecting to hear anything at all really because I dare say an existing tutor will get the role or someone who is an experienced teacher. But I won't know unless I try will I!

Can I ask for your opinions on something. My cousin is about 4 months pregnant, she's had a scan telling her she is having a little girl (which is what she wanted) but they are a bit concerned and she has to go back in Jan for another one because they couldn't see the baby's face. Does this sound odd to anyone else?

I'm worried because she has drunk and smoked throughout her pregnancy (heavily to) My Mum is wondering whether they are looking for something like Downs which was alter the baby's facial features. I don't have kids so I'm not sure just how strange this is.

My cousin is convince that they just want to give her a scan of her baby's face (how stupid is she!!) I was just wondering what everyone else thought.

Anyway.... very very cold here this morning, it took me 15 mins to de-ice my car!!

Not too bad thanks... he wanted to drive this morning but woke up in pain again so decided against it. He's able to move it ok now though which is a good sign.

It may just be that they couldn't see the baby's pallate which is a risk marker for downs... I'm sure it's just precautionary though

maz....did you really not enjoy enchanted??? I LOVED it, am such a teenage cheese queen LOL. My DD is more mature than me and saw its flaws but i thought it was so much fun. Saw an advert for I am Legend which comes out on boxing day and I really want to go and see that now.

How are you all this morning anyway...just managed to drag myself out of my pit...actually thats a lie....i am awake and upright but am still in bed. Heading out shortly though...just giving the sun a chance to melt the frost on the car windscreen. After my interview the other day I thought it cant hurt to show I am keen by dropping a letter into the recruitment team to say so, so will do that and them am visiting a friend in hospital. Should be home before it gets dark
