Mashed pots freeze fantastically. Freeze in the portion size you will want to use. The easiest way to reheat is to use a microwave if you have one.
I am positive that mashed swede will freeze just as well but have no actual experience of it - please let us know0 -
I quite often mash swede and potatoes together, kids like it like that, butter and pepper in there too. We call it golden mash."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Hi
I quite often freeze mashed swede & carrots in oven proof dishes. When i want to use it pop it in the oven to heat through.

I freeze mashed swede on its own and the only thing you might notice is it will be slightly watery but a quick turn over in a hot pan or blitz in the micro will solve that. Other than that its fine0
