so I’ll do the figures tonight i’m off sick today. Hopefully be back in it for next week.

this week has been pretty good and now I’ve got my training funded when I pay for it, I want a slight bit more as I don’t want to be completely brastic when I go and finish off everything.

    Atom fixed 1 year: £44,352
    Atom instant: £2,272.80
    S&S: £5,158.05
    Crypto: £747.52
    Forex: £705.56

£53,235.93 in my savings now an increase of £599.94 in total.

It seems my strategy is starting to pay off now we’re heading into summer.

It’s Friday, I’ll do my update.

quite happy with how the week has gone really, the ISA is doing really well, Forex is back up to my original investment with 3 trades closing out last night 2 profit 1 loss..

works been good as well, I’ve slowed my self down a bit just to get my mental health in order. Too much work made me a bit toasty if I’m being honest so being sick last week allowed me to work sporadically this week.

Funny thing with crypto is that I’ve now secured more “coins/tokens” from an alternative source… I am really holding out at the moment.  I’m not really in a btc trade just in alt coins/tokens.

I also didn’t realise that Atom is giving me monthly interest. So it’s nice to see the figures.

    Here’s my latest report.

    Atom fixed 1 year: £44,352
    Atom Instant savings: £2,422.80
    S&S isa: £5.180.15 a growth rate of 2.8%!!
    Forex: £745.58
    Crypto: £761.90

My current savings are at £53,462.43 an increase of £226.50.

My health is getting back in check now; my diabetes is getting under control which I’m happy with and should be coming off insulin on my next health check up which is next month… hopefully I’ve made the major improvements that’s required..

    Congrats on making some progress.

Important to highlight though that you're celebrating your Forex for recovering the losses it has made.

Recognise that this makes it literally as good as gambling

I haven’t been much on here recently due to some commitments done an entire month down south on a refurb. Nothing has changed with savings yet as waiting to be paid!

    Will update shortly.

Yes, I get that but it needs to be doing something. I’m currently in profit on my forex account now.
  • But you weren't in profit before, that's my point. You could have turned that into a solid, reliable additional chunk on a savings account.

As long as you recognise that the Forex is not a dependable method to savings and is gambling at it's core, and you're happy with that risk and recognise it for what it is, then power to you.
  • Had a few weeks of being a bit crazy here and there, but I’m back. More than likely won’t do a weekly one now as I’m far too busy now.

summer been and gone, gone and spent some money on myself and now adding it back in, my figures are as followed.

    Atom fixed 1 year: £44,352
    Atom Instant savings: £2,625.28
S&S isa: £5.270.18 (quite happy with this, good growth)
    Forex: £769.31
    Crypto: £897.51

£53,914.28 in total excluding cash in current account and fast-access savings account for the business..

I’ve got a few rewires for the next coming months so should tide me over, nicely I think. Like I said spent about £500-600 on me but still in profit.
  • So, I think another good week is in order. I haven’t done that much if I’m being honest with you lot.

Spoke with someone to work out my pension, I transferred it away from PensionBee to another provider on my own advice - cheaper annual fee. Also £200 cashback also after 6 months so can’t beat that!

I’ve upped my pension payments to £80 per month for a few months, this will give me £100 per month in the pension including the top up. The plan will be to up those to £85 in the next 4-6 months and see how I get on.

At PensionBee my pension grew around £750 from April when I took it over, happy about that but migrated it to Weathily the same place my stock & shares isa is located. The fee is much cheaper and there program “seems” to be working where as PensionBee I could never seem to stick over £28,0000 in the pension even though I kept putting money into it.

I’ve updated my financials and things are looking good at the moment.. i should be able to at least get a nice and cozy shared ownership now but nothing is springing to mind locally where I’m at plus I have to wait anyways till June next year to withdraw anyways.

    Pension: £28,122.16

    Atom fixed: £44,352

    Atom instant: £2,875.28

    S&S Isa: £5,344.68

    Forex: £778.65

    Crypto: £955.86

£54,306.47 is my total, I have enough for my training now when I want to go through and do it but have decided not quite yet, will wait off on it until after Christmas. I’ve got too much on to mess around with anything else yet.

Lots has changed in the last few weeks, it’s all downhill I’m afraid. Pension down, isa down. Who knows what will happen next.

Again, long term investments so not really too fust at the moment.

    Pension: £27,355.98

    Atom fixed: £44,352

    Atom instant: £3,486.43

    S&S Isa: £5,242.51

    Forex: £748.25

    Crypto: £953.82

So my total is £54,783.01 at the moment which means I’ve grown £476.54 from the last few weeks with all the losses across the board.. still good onwards and upwards

So from one week to another so much has changed, it’s unreal. I’m an official employer now I have one extra lad coming on with me to do some “grunt” work I don’t really want to do on my own, his shy, but has it in him to do it.

So there are two of us now doing work, I’m out at one house and his out at another.

i set a goal of getting 60k in few years, I may have to re-evaluate as this year (April to April) I’m counting as a year I’ve done well over 10k+ so far meaning I should hit everything sooner..

i am also looking into my forex and crypto trades currently as the risk to reward isn’t there what so ever and may end up pulling out of both deals entirely it’s in ‘consultation’ to see what I’m going to do with these.

As Forex has not moved to a profitable position where I am happy, crypto is a bit all over the place but still profitable.

John my friend seems happy with the way it’s going. I could be earning around £3/4 on that permanently with my atom savings account so I will give it to January to make a choice to keep it in or not.

So this week looks like this, kind of crazy what a week can do for stuff in the market if I’m being honest. I also won £25 voucher at Weathily as well this week before they shut the discord community..

    Pension: £27,787.42

    Atom fixed: £44,352

    Atom instant: £3,783.46

    S&S Isa: £5,407.57

    Forex: £748.68

    Crypto: £906.11

Gives me a total of £55,197.82 in total which gives me a total increase of £414.81 across the week, which seems pretty average at the moment.

I am hoping that having the second lad out will increase this slightly week on week.

I do have mental health issues but I found that the way I’m doing this currently is that I’ve set myself an unrealistic goal (yes, @Ryan_Holden) I am aware.

But doing some testing and experimenting on some bits is very interesting and a very good model to try and see what happens. You’ll never know without failure. Which I think this is what is happening currently with the Forex.

My fixed atom account matures in May next year I found out, so hopefully I’ll have near enough what I need for a freehold fixer upper if not a decent % of a shared ownership either way. As I said last week, onwards and upwards.

    Peace!
