Very nice. You forgot to go outside, and watch a cloud, breathe and enjoy what this life is truly about ...
That’ll pay off later on when I don’t have to worry about life like I do now.
I’m not sure how gambling will achieve that.
You realise I’m out 90% of the time? And this technology called smart phones. Helps me to keep track of my stuff.

works crazy at the moment my offers have sent me very busy and now I’m doing different work.

Had a very hard couple of days so have not been able to do my figures. I had to withdraw from my emergency fund this week as people was lacking paying me - they took a while and I was sort of running out of money. I’m glad that I did start filling up that fund when I could.

it’s been hard as people have been struggling in turn made me struggle a bit so I worked harder to get a bit more money together so I can actually live and keep my daughter fed this week, nothing major but as my friend puts it. I’m sort of living on fumes just to save.

Which is kind of true, i am dumping absolutely everything in savings and living on a knife edge then when I think I haven’t got any money I’m working harder to get more money… guess it’s not a bad problem to be in.

so I spent £200 in total on the emergency fund which I had made but I’ve promptly started filling it back up as I’ve been getting paid I’m so glad that I stopped filling up my S&S isa when I did and started putting a fund together. What a bonus.

here are this weeks financials, which I’m pretty happy with, but with the US killing to crypto market it’s just kept on sinking lower and lower.

Atom have increased the fixed rate 1 year isa to 5.4%, i am keeping my money there and not bothering to move it.

    Atom: £42,695 - matures 23rd - next Friday
    S&S Isa: £5,086.10 - good growth!
    Crypto: £390
Forex: £680 - markets not in my favour
    Atom Instant: £550.44/£2,376

My total fund excluding cash in my current account is £49,401.54 so I’ve lost £3.40 this week, which is absolutely fine.

I’m so close to having the golden £50,000 in total savings but the problem is I’m so far away, feels like I am getting further away… been at this level for at least 2 weeks now, I’m hoping the crypto market picks up if I’m being honest.

Have lost a lot since the US started cracking down, never the less I am hoping for ‘alt season’ to potentially start shortly..

however the week isn’t finished yet I’ve got two massive jobs today, 2 tomorrow and I’m getting quotes accepted left right and centre.

my offers worked well lol ☺️

Should be able to have at least £200ish extra after this week in my savings account. I’m obviously not having it in there for that long so not able to make the monthly interest on the instant account. But I’m getting close to that £1,000 magic number, plus my £2376 training number. That’s the bare minimum I need to complete my training excluding digs for the week where I need to go.

Done some re-jigging this morning to move some of the spread a bit, it’s been a good week all round bar Forex which is what it is.

put £150 of my own money into crypto now as I feel like it’s peaked a bit. I increased my spread by around 3 tokens, and I’ll most likely put a bit more in when some more money comes in so it’s doing something rather than nothing.

i have my eye on a few targets on crypto. I’m going to see what I can do over the next couple of weeks, it’s gonna bounce up (I really hope 😂😂)

so here are my current figures as of now.

    Atom fixed: £42,695 (matures Friday)
    Atom instant: £500.44
    crypto: £553.88 (current)
    forex: £670.60
    S&S ISA: £5,107.45

£49,527.37 in total cash outside of my normal current account

I grew by £125.83 this week now, I’m very happy about that.. it means that I’m so close to getting to that golden £50,000. With just £472.63 to go.

I’m still owed some money from work this week so just waiting about for that to come through, whenever it does and I’ll shuffle it again..

Your crypto value has almost consistently dropped update on update and yet you've just put more money into it.

Every time it goes down you write something like "the market's not in my favour". News flash, it's not in many people's favour. I'm not saying your addicted, but this is an honest sign of denial.

Change the "market" to the "house" and you've got yourself the same sentence.

Crypto is not a sound method of saving chap, it is gambling unless you have a detailed understanding of the market and time to be on it 24/7.

I know this, and I get where you’re coming from but it’s a little bit of fun that doesn’t get out of hand for me.

alright so haven’t had time to update as I’ve been out working all week, got lots and lots of jobs which is great and breaking a lot of ground and getting new customers.

my Atom finally matured today, just going to wait a few days to see what’s going to happen with rates and will reinvest by next Friday. But I’m pretty sure I will just stay with Atom.

so my figures look like this

    Atom instant: £43,310.73
    S&S: £5,078.18
    crypto: £636.98(current)
    Forex: £688.22

brings my balance to £49,714.11 in total. I’m still waiting for payment from last week plus this is excluding what I have in my current account I also have quite a bit of cash laying around from jobs that people have paid in cash so it’s excluding this also.

Just some financial updates from a few days ago and to now, what has changed is unreal and I’m so happy to announce I finally hit my £50,000 target for the year! Onwards and upwards!

Excited that my fixed account has matured and have renewed with atom at 5.60% for the year, i am happy with the interest being £2,352 for the year! Glad I only fixed for 6 months in December that’s for sure.

    Atom fixed 1 year: £44,352

    S&S: £5,043.25

    Forex: £688.20

    Crypto: £652.98

Atom instant: £1,460.73 rate increased to 3.95%!

    Total: £52,197.16

My goal for next year will be to increase this by at least £8,000 again and see where that hits me.

I’m close to being able to pay for my training in full which is at £2,276 in total I will want about £3,000 in total to include digs and food while I am away for the week. Plus some money for wife and daughter while away.

Been reading through your updates over the past couple of weeks, you’re doing really well with some clear goals.
I am presuming you added extra to your new fixed term as you has 42K + interest previously and now much higher amount?

    Hi,

unfortunately not, I haven’t put any more towards it. I have it located in my instant accounts for now.

I’ve got a few repairs to do on the van this week plus a service. Since the last time I’ve done it a couple of months ago, I’ve added nearly 20k miles to it so I’ve ear marked it for this.

    The repairs are
    driveshaft
    wing mirror repair
    general service
disc & pads replacement - the shaking is making me sick now lol

so I’m going to get this all done on Friday now.

i have ordered all parts already and will just wait for my guy to come along.

i also need tie rod ends being done but will do that at a garage.

I’ve saved £395 of it into the instant account and refixed the £42,000.

Hi, I am sure getting the repairs done will be worth it and hopefully save in the long run.

Thinking myself about fixing with Atom for a time, but would prefer the monthly interest, rather than waiting for 9 months or a year. The year rate is looking good and tempting, even for the monthly.
Look forward to you next update.

I managed to miss Friday because of how much work I’ve had on this week, it’s been so busy I didn’t know where my head was unfortunately.

ill do my figures now, I’ve increased quite a bit, I’m happy. I had to take a bit out on Monday just to get me through this week but I’ve replaced it now.

    Atom fixed 1 year: £44,352
    Atom Instant savings: £1,782.80
    S&S ISA: £5,094.36
    Forex: £696.31
    Crypto: £630.03.

£52,555.50 is my total so I’ve increased by £358.34. I’m getting closer to being able to finish off my training as well!

    thanks!
