We truly are................someone on here (or might have been daily thread) mentioned writing out five blessing and putting them somewhere you'd see them every day - its very easy to lost track of the things we have to be thankful for especially if money's tight, weathers cold etc.Mary

hi Greenshield! yes daffodils (big tall ones) have been in full flower in my godmother's front garden since last week- smaller ones are in bud this week and will be in flower soon. The tulips are pushing up through there too! I dont have any flowers so I make special notice of hers to enjoy. Spring is definitely coming :j... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

I have just found this thread and like other people am impressed at how inspiring it is. I have recently read Life's too F*****g Short by Janet Street Porter and I think it would appeal to those who have enjoyed this and it covers similar ideas in Janet's own witty and thought provoking way. I am going to buy it as a birthday present for my sister and maybe she could them pass it on to someone else when she has finished with it.0

Hi :hello:
Signs of spring around me listening to the birds singing at 4pm
Daffs poking out the ground!:j Where there is a will there is a way - there is a way and I will find it :j0 -
Enjoying life is I think one of the most important things we can do. We owe it to ourselves as well as others.
Signs of spring so far are pots of mini daffs on the kitchen window sill........lol
Mary I also have a pot of mini daffs on the kitchen window sill - just the same here in France! And I also keep thinking 'spring' every time I look at them. It feels good we are all connected by these small things......"Remember that many of the things you have now you could once only dream of" - Epicurus0 -
