What a lovely quote Aril........thankyou.
Well, de-cluttering I'm not but I am trying to 'simplify' by ploughing through phone calls I needed to make on behalf of a lad we used to care for re his Housing Benefit, booking appointments for the beauty voucher OH got me for Christmas, trying to sort out accomodation for when I see Mum end of the month and stuff to do with soc.services.
Trouble is, can't get through to HB, shan't know if my friend can put me up when I see Mum until Wednesday, and all soc. services calls are -'they'll ring you back' replies ! Still, I've ploughed through the paperwork I had to get ready for a meeting here this afternoon about the kids, OH has finished washing down kitchen walls and I just have to do quick tidy up before 2pm so not doing too bad today.
Especially after one of the kids came in very late last night, various incidents had occurred that I needed to talk to him about and midnight is never a good time is it so I'll have to see him when he finishes work.
Had every intention of disappearing upstairs to blitz our bedroom but once I started on the paperwork it all seemed to take longer than I thought. Oh well, tomorrow is another day:jMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Hello there!
The decluttering mission is taking another turn today as I am starting on the kitchen [still avoiding the filing/sorting that needs doing in the spare room!] I am making sure that I finish off some of the opened jars of jam etc before I open anything new and I have composted items that I know that are well out of date including a tin of diy marmalade from 2004 [hidden as usual!] I'm making it my personal mission to declutter all the Christmas chocolates aswell:D Over the next week or so I shall be targetting the freezer to finish off all the treasures that are lurking there before I defrost it and give it a good clean [been a good girl and have made my oven sparkle with a little help from OH] Anyway that's the plan!
Today's quote:
The happiness of the bee and the dolphin is to exist. For man it is to know that and wonder at it.

I have closed 2 'redundant' bank accounts today, not needed, take time to adminster, so gone!
I am loving this thread - noticed how many posts we have now - wow. Glad I only have to keep up, I wouldn't have the time to read all this wonderful stuff from scratch.Carolbee0 -
Quickie thought - re keeping up with threads one likes - avatars help. I can spot my own posts instantly now if I'm looking for them and have learnt to recognise some other peoples avatars. Unfortunately not everyone I am keeping up with has one - so more searching involved there - hint! hint!
(Anyone wanting one - its there in the basic instructions on this site and even I managed to figure out how to get one - so its not that hard).0 -

If you're reading this - have seen various things you put on other threads re selling up house and walking out with basically 2 sets of clothes. Believe my memory is right in thinking you are setting yourself a budget equivalent to benefit level to live on too.
Would be intrigued to know the tale behind this - and how you're doing!0 -

funny you should say this, I looked at the recommended links a few days ago. it does help to know where you last read to. I have one avatar for all my scrapbooking forums but would like a different one for MSE. I shall keep looking!... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
