That's ridiculous @dolly84 - I shall attempt to join you in your boycott, and I even used to work for Boots a long time ago.
Have a UU to report:
Nars Orgasm Blush - love this and think it might be my HG. I like blushes that are "universal" that I can wear with any look pretty much. I have another one ready to go but realised that I have a Tarte blush that I haven't used (which I bought on my honeymoon from a Sephora in New York...almost 8 years ago 😳). So I've cracked this out and first impressions yesterday were very good.
Have a few more things that are spluttering etc. so will update more over the weekend.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20174 -

I have a few Tarte blushers and find taht they always get hard pan.I finished off that sample of Acqua di Palma today. I'm wearing it and I also sprayed it in the living room before I left. Would not purchase.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

UU
- Boots Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover: Does the job, repurchased.
- The Body Shop Instaglow CC Cream- Bright Glow: This really stung my face this morning, and it did sting a bit the last few times I tried it, so in the bin it goes. I don’t think it used to sting, but its quite old now so probs a past it!
INS- Boots Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover: replacement
- Kerastase- Genesis Bain Hydra-fortifiant shampoo: Current shampoo won't be much longer for this world. Wanted to try a fancy shampoo to see if it works for my hair better. Am trying to take better care of it this year. This range is anti-breakage/anti-hair falls, so we shall see.
- Redken 11 Thermal Spray: My current heat protect spray is nearing the end, so got this one. Meant to have a bit of hold too, so should keep the style longer. Again, we shall see!
- Simple- soothing eye balm: Have had a bit of an eye allergy thing going on (it's been fun….) so I needed something basic. I was pleasantly surprised by the balmy texture, I thought I'd bought an eye cream!
- Hello Sunday - SPF50 The One for your Lips Lipbalm: For my holiday, wanted one with spf. Hard to find lipbalms with SPF, so I was happy to find one with more than SPF15!
- Boots Nail polish remover pads: For holiday, polish pads, for ease of use
- Umberto Giannini Grow Tonic: My Ordinary peptide hair serum is almost out, so going to try this as a replacement. Has caffeine and some other ingredients that's meant to help, and it smells lovely like the mask/conditioner does
- Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick- Matte- in Cherries in the Snow: Naughty purchase alert, this was to cheer me up! It's a pretty colour.
Post-covid I've had a lot of skin allergy stuff, the whole month, which has been fun..... so my fave item? E45 cream and antihistamines!basic basic basic. Haven't been using much of my actual products, as I've been trying not to set my skin off. I don't think the reactions have been skincare-related, but as my skin has been in a compromised state, I don't want to risk that a product (that is normally fine) causing issues, so I haven't been able to get much used up this month either :-(
Month tallies- INS: 15 (£125.09, 11 replacements, 2 unnecessary, 2 new product type)
- OUTS: 17 (14 UU, 3 Throw Away)
Balance: 2 less items in my stash overall. Money spent? Waaaaaaaaaaaay less than last month. I'm OK with this considering I haven't been using as much products this month.

Didn't get a chance to update over the weekend and had 1 more UU:
Skin and Me Daily Doser: I like this and the effect I get from it. I use it every other night and it actually works out more cost effective than the last retinol product I was using. Have another one that's due to arrive soon so have replaced with a lactic acid serum sample for the moment and will see how I get on with that.
here's my updated PP list for the month:
Cath Kidston Lavender Hand Cream
Glossier Rose Balm Dot Com
Nars Rikugien lip pencil
Laura Mercier Primer
Neals Yard Bee Lovely body lotion
Bayliss and Harding Body Lotion 1
Bayliss and Harding Body Lotion 2
4 1 Sheet masks
LRP Anthelios SPF 50
UD Last Call eyeshadow
So will carry over a few things to next month. Ending April with 21 UU and 12 INs
