Kitchen tiles removed and renewed next year, hopefully.

Make sure the socket plate is fixed over the new tiles, not tiles laid around the socket like now.
And get the socket replaced with a double one.

Coloured acrylics- Genius! No need for filler, amazing.
You will possibly need longer screws.

Ref any Tiles being re seated after using Acrylic cover, I'll not Manage to remove Tiles.
I'll use cover install video to unscrew socket, twist socket diagnolly before using cover then return socket to re screw either side.
Not sure what screws I'll need, I suppose I can Air Measure them to add a few mm's to purchase longer screws.
I have a box of screws from MSE Assisted Art installation, though I think their too long.

These decorative covers look quite thin where they fit under the sockets, so as Grumb says, good chance the existing screws will be fine. You should have a good idea when you unscrew them - if they unscrew at least a good 5mm out from the socket face before releasing, then there's every chance they'll be long enough to reuse.
I'm hoping these covers can be slipped over the sockets diagonally without have to undo the wiring? Dandy, bear in mind there will still be LIVE terminals behind the socket, and every now and then one wire will pop out from a terminal due to a loose screw - you really don't want that catching your fingertips - so power off at the CU before doing this, please.

They are thin but the socket is currently recessed in the hole made by the tiles.  Once the cover is added it will increase the required screw length by the thickness of the tiles plus the thickness of the cover.

Good point. Isn't that just the worst, laziest thing to do?! Drives me barmy.

Ah, looking at the photo again, I'm hoping that isn't actually the case with Dandy - it's just badly-cut tiles, but the socket could well still be sitting on top. Fingers crossed.

It’s hard to tell isn’t it.  The bottom looks like it’s a bit recessed but the top looks like it might be above the tile.

That screw looks like it’s not properly tightened.

The existing screws will more than likely be fine. The are usually much longer than needed and you spend ages screwing them up to them tight
