Bathroom Ceiling Filler

Did the tiler start at the bottom with a full tile and then ended up with this gap at the top that’s too small for tile? He should have started with half a tile on the bottom row which would have allowed for another half tile at the top to reach the ceiling.Dandytf said:Refer to...
Is there a shower head attached anywhere near that gap?0 -
Used to fill a gap between ceiling and wall.
I'll try this 1st tomorrow from Screwfix.
Bathroom was tiled before I purchased flat a few years earlier, I don't know any info on how it had been tiled.
Shower Head is not far from ceiling, in front of walls/gap.
thanks

That would be ideal, I don't have required skills, thanks anyway.plumb1_2 said:I recommend cutting some tiles and placing in the gap. Putting a flexible seal , or silicone/filler is just a bad job imo. And I’d expect a customer to kick off with me if I left a job like that 30/40 mm gap. I beleive physical strength is required, not going for this option.grumbler said:

This option seems possible as not much strength required.mi-key said:For a 1.5cm gap I would consider small coving. It will give a much tidier and more finished look than putting any kind of strip around the top, which will always look a bit like you have tried to cover a gap.
You can get mini coving like this

Which is on 4cm so would cover your gap well
I'll order Coving+Adhesive once I measure areas, can't be much more than 4x2 Meters per wall.
Thanks everyone appreciated.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb1 -

Which is on 4cm so would cover your gap wellIn this case (and possibly in most other similar), I'd second the use of lightweight plastic coving. It'll not only comfortably cover that largish gap, but should actually add to the shower cubicle's aesthetics - tiles just butting up to the ceiling usually looks a bit unfinished to me.This stuff will also have the significant advantage of being naturally well insulated - it has a foam core - so will be less likely to have condensation form on it, so less likely to become mouldy. Should be fully waterproof too - tho' really water shouldn't be getting up there, apart from the very odd splash or spray. If you can find one that also has end caps and corner cover pieces - the fit-over type - then it's a real doddle to fit as only straight cuts are required in the coving, and even these won't need to be perfect!2 -
yes, doesn't really take any strength to fit, the pieces of coving are very light, and you can use grab adhesive to fit them - basically run a line of it on each flat inside face of the coving ( so it sticks to the wall and the ceiling ) and push into placeDandytf said:
