In that case, I do feel for the OP however Klarna can’t have just plucked the card details out of nowhere. They must have been on the account for them to refund to that.

If the money was refunded to a closed account the the recipient bank will put it n a holding account for a period, if they then still cant allocate it to an account will return it to the sender. you really need to speak to the cancel card issuer and ask them where it is. That should have been the first thing you did and this could have been sorted with minimal fuss.
