Is it really quiet for new listings?

I don't actually think it's quieter for listings, but the houses going on in my area are going on for more now than they were a year ago 🤷♂️ I.e a 3 bed semi was about £230k last year and now most are asking £250k.Sarah1Mitty2 said:On the actual topic.......I don`t think it is particularly quiet for new listings?
Some houses are priced more fairly than similar houses last year and they would have certainly SSTC in a week at that price but they are sitting around still.
The market has slowed in that houses are not selling.0 -
Not much on the market, but/so things are still selling pretty fast where I am (herts) when they are sensibly priced. Asking prices have definitely dropped from where they were last year, but I'm not convinced houses were ever selling for the most hyped up asking prices - just people were getting greedy and some of the prices I saw on asking were clearly unrealistic. Those people are slowly dropping their prices, but their houses are hanging around while the properly priced ones sell in a week or two.
