Bulb.co.uk are harassing me over a bill. But I never lived at the property.

Occupy OR own. You own it, you have to pay the bills unless there's someone else occupying it and responsible for the bills.DJalecC said: termination where a customer ceases to own or occupy a premise, and
So if I don't occupy the premise I'm not responsible for it. And they did not send me any of this REQUIREMENT

So who should pay the bill while not occupied? How easy would it have been for them to track you down to provide this information? I would suggest you go over to the energy board with this as there is also the issue that this is not strictly a consumer issue, as this is a supply to a property that is owned by you as a business not a consumer.1

If you’ve never opened an account with then how do they have your email?2

Who factors the property for you? Surely they should be dealing with this.
Has there been a change of tenant or periods when the property had no tenants?0 -
So who do you think is liable for the bills during the void periods, if not the LL or owner?
It would have helped if you said in your first post 'I am the LL/owner of this property but have never occupied it'.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Drip, drip, drip. The full story is always helpful, rather than having to await pertinent details in instalments. It went from you having nothing to do with the bills to it becoming clear that you very much have.Based on what you've (eventually) provided so far, I can't see why you wouldn't be liable for unpaid bills.7

You must have some sort of previous account connection to Bulb for them to have your email address.
If your tenants have left did you (or your letting agent) get proof of final payments to all utility companies before returning their deposit? As others have said if the property is empty the owner IS responsible for standing charges. You say you are not in the UK so cannot phone, but surely that cost would be worth it to get the situation resolved and avoid any legal action. At the very least you should speak to them to get a copy of the bill.0 -
What have the agents said about the bill?
I suspect that the agent received the bill and gave Bulb you email address as the person responsible for the bill since you are the owner/landlord.0 -
So the agents have broken GDPR law? They never asked me they could provided bulb with my details...sheramber said:What have the agents said about the bill?
