Interestingly I have just seen that NW have paid the 5% on my spend at Aldi in Feb, except that it has appeared in my TSB Spend & Save account.  I switched out this particular NW account to TSB in late Feb and had assumed that, as that account was closed as part of the switch and before the cashback was due,  that they wouldn't pay it (as per the cashback T&Cs).  So both surprised and delighted.

However, nothing in the joint NW account from Feb spend yet oddly.
I switched to Halifax from NW last week and have just had £10 forwarded to my Halifax account from NW for Feb spend.

I have received mine now ...

    ... just to check it's for the period 9th Feb - 28th Feb ?

The only way I can get an almost exact fit is if they have included the spend at Home Bargains and B&M,  and excluded Wilko and a late payment on the 28th Feb to Waitrose.

I'm not surprised by the Wilko exclusion.  I don't know the Home Bargains and B&M brands well enough but presumably their product range is heavily on the groceries side of things.

I have both a Flex and a Flex Direct account (used only the FD debit card) but no cash back has appeared in either yet and I've not switched an account away from Nationwide so funds shouldn't have been re-directed elsewhere.

A cashback credit has been made to our joint FlexDirect account during the course of today but it's only for purchases made with one debit card; cashback for a purchase made with the other debit card for this account has yet to be received.

Conclusion:  Nationwide are paying each month's cashback in tranches based on the individual debit card.  So for two accounts, each with two debit cards, there could be four separate cashback credits.

The cashback credit appears to be 5% of the total amount spent, rounded to the nearest penny.

... those two shops were discussed in the main Nationwide cashback thread and it was concluded that they were excluded because they were not in the retailer list linked on the offer page, but it was not a good look because one or two top retailers were included ... so if they are included it's a welcome surprise.

My spend was exclusively from my FlexDirect account, so I think they're doing what they said, going through all the accounts with completion by 11th April, hope you get it soon, new car ? ... (toy one)  :D
  • I've had cashback on my FlexAccount but not my FlexDirect. Hopefully it will appear.
  • Cashback just arrived in my FlexDiect account 29/03
