Presumably, both of you agree that there’s also the penalty for missing the 10 days deadline? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

its the number of apointments that matters not the number of meters.
(60 for 1 appointment for both meters after 10 days. 120 for 2 appointments @ one for each meter after 10 days)Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott
It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

Think of it this way - did they make an appointment to change your electricity meter for 10am on 23rd february, and fail to turn up, and an appointment to change your gas meter for 3pm on 23rd February, and fail to turn up for that one too? OR did they make an appointment to change your electricity and gas meters, for 10am on 23rd February, and fail to turn up?
If the latter, then it is £30 for the missed appointment, and a further £30 for failing to pay you the first £30 in a timely fashion.
Something else to bear in mind - courts frequently have a habit of regarding claims made without following due process as vexatious. That doesn't tend to reflect well on the plaintiff in those cases.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

As above £60 is what you are entitled to but as stated above if you complained back in Feb you can take it to the ombudsman service after 8 weeks and they may award you £60 plus some offer on top for poor customer service. £50-£75.

Are Scottish Power disputing that you are owed the GSOP payment?
Assuming it relates to the below thread then it wasn't a missed appointment, rather they failed to send somebody with the necessary skills, experience and equipment to carry out the install (which should still attract the £30 payment). Are they perhaps claiming that it was something outside their control that led to the failed install?

GDB2222 said:So, you think it’s £60 compensation, because there are two meters. Whereas, Dolor thinks that it’s just £30. There was just the one appointment.
Presumably, both of you agree that there’s also the penalty for missing the 10 days deadline? My numbers include the compensation for failing to pay.2 meters + one missed appointment = £30, failure to pay £30 adds £30 = £60I would point out that the OP hasn't even confirmed if they were notified of a need to change the appointment, since as long as they do that more than 24 hours before the appointment there is nothing to pay at all...
