Bit of an odd day tomorrow. Thankfully should be a one-off with the wind picking up sharply during the rest of the week. Thankfully there are some less extreme half hours interspersed through the morning peak.2

Even more odd tomorrow.. by looking at Emon CMS I assumed prices below 10p all day 😅0

Not often you see the morning wholesale price above the evening peak!Newbie_John said:Even more odd tomorrow.. by looking at Emon CMS I assumed prices below 10p all day 😅0 -
Yeah, that gives some hope for Wednesday but Tuesday is unexpectedly expensive, and even so with Agile premium price for 16-19 that goes unnoticed..masonic said:

Not sure if this would fully explain it, but from what I could see the wind generation peaked during the peak use period for electricity.Newbie_John said:

Ugh, no letup on the horizon weather-wise - I thought these three days would be cheaper than they are, the wind drops on Saturday then Monday looks even more expensive.
Does anyone know why the prices are still high despite decent wind right now?
*Note: still cheaper for us than SVT so far but I'm getting a bit squirrelly about next week. Knowing why the prices are so high would help inform whether it's worth switching to Cosy for a bit because then at least we'd have cheap periods in the day again.0 -
It wouldn't surprise me if the antics of the Orange Moron are keeping gas prices relatively high.0
