Didn't have time to do the ironing between 1-2pm. Had the oil filled radiator on, the tumble drier, the oven cooking flapjacks, the bread machine starting a 3 hour loaf and the slow cooker heating up ready for the lamb curry. And the dehumidifier is on in the bathroom next to the washing hanging over the bath. Don't worry, we won't electrocute ourselves. Couldn't find the fan heater which has disappeared out of OH's office.  And the solar panels were being charged.

So far today we've used 19.48kwh at a cost of 16p.

Yep. It's Home Assistant. Used to control my thermal store and automate heating it via the boiler or immersions along with also turning on all the heating when its cheap as chips.

What do you use to remotely control the immersions please?  I have 2 in my tank.  Looking for a cheap solution, preferably zigbee. TIA

My immersion tank was wired to E7 wires and when one of the heaters broke I also needed more control when it runs (before Agile, due to having solar thermal) I got one of these:

Generally speaking very average, separate app which crashes at first opening but gives you the power to set it up as you wish - and you get to say you have a Tesla 😂

I'm currently using a couple of Timeguard FSTWIFITU https://www.timeguard.com/products/wi-fi/wi-fi-switches/fstwifitu-wi-fi-controlled-fused-spur-tuya-edition

Not the best option with it being Tuya which I'd usually avoid in favour of Zigbee or Zwave but it's working OK for now.
