Parking ticket from ncp is now at £170 after failing appeal

I have just received my court date and need to start drafting my statement. I have photos of the tickets I bought for the adjacent car park and I can get some shots from google images showing the parking meter in the middle of the car park and a shot of the sign showing the NCP label being small and in the corner of the sign.
Is there any other things I should be referencing?
maybe the Beavis case I have seen mentioned on here which refers to improper signage? Not sure if it is ultimately applicable to me.There is also the point that I only challenged the case because I thought I had paid. the letter I received from NCP did not say that I had paid for the incorrect car park. If it did then I would have just paid the £40 and been done with it. Unfortunately I do not have the letter I received so would not be able to supply this as evidence.Any support I can receive on this is much appreciated.0 -
Do not say this in your WS:
"If it did then I would have just paid the £40 and been done with it."
See the second post of the NEWBIES thread section about good WS examples and the a-f list of recommended Exhibits to attach along with your photos.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello all,
I have attached a link of my defence, It is very largely the statement made up by Citizen_K I have adjusted the exhibits and the facts and events accordingly. Please let me know what you think.

Why have you stated UK Parking Control Ltd in WS heading?1
-
And para 33 has copied "the previously reserved costs of £315" which is only applicable to CitizenK's case.
I'm going to delete that WS example from the NEWBIES thread. People also keep copying "with the DLUHC's ban on added costs" which isn't true because the PPC industry blocked it.
Can you get pics of how badly delineated the 2 car parks are?
And/or use the aerial site map that NCP supplied at POPLA stage to demonstrate how close the bays are to each other, with no fence or barrier to speak of.
Finally, same comments apply to your WS as were made here:

There are TWO persuasive appeal cases... you only need ONE exhibit (the judgments link including Akande). Delete all your early paragraphs about 'another case' (exhibits 2 3 and 4 are not needed, as we have a single link with ALL judgments).
This example (latest draft from that same thread) is better but I've told them to remove para 6 and 7, which aren't needed:

Para 9 - "Before the ticket ran out, they purchased an overlapping ticket to see them through to the end of the workday."
Just checking - is the statement in para 28 relevant as it talks about "as I attempted to gain entry to the store."1 -
I have attached a picture from both sides of the car park showing how it is split up (which it is in fairness) and how the respective meters are in the central divide. As far as the photos from the popla decision, I don’t believe ncp provided any.

Sorry ‘para 28’ is hangover from the WS I used as a template for my own and needs to be removed.1505grandad said:Para 9 - "Before the ticket ran out, they purchased an overlapping ticket to see them through to the end of the workday."

NCP certainly provided an evidence pack to POPLA (which was available for you to view at the time) including photos.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

These are the pictures I received from NCP in response to my appeal with popla. I managed to find my code for the popla appeal and had a look but there doesn’t seem to be much I can delve into other than seeing the notices of submission and decision. On your comment about whether there was a fence splitting the car parks. There is a fence in between which you can see in the two photos i put in an earlier comment.(Images removed by Forum Team)0
