Meanwhile, it's arrived today and I helped carry bricks though couldn't offer any lifting Heater help only some support.

Thanks for keeping us updated.

If you don't already have one somewhere,  make sure the E7 fused spur has a neon indicator.

You can then see at a glance the times when you can use high-power appliances at the lower rate.

I'll need to let Electrician know of this request, does the Live switch need anything specific for 24/7 connection.

Nothing special, just a fused spur of the appropriate current rating (30A or whatever) that meets the wiring regulations.

Installation complete, didn't mention Fuse Spur, more wired onto existing off peak eco 7 + hard wired into peak socket.
Going to attempt simple programming as immediatley reduced from 21c down to min 7c- before choosing prefs.
00:00-00:00 to 00:00-08:30 as starting point.
Amazing to view installed Dimplex Quantum,  Excellent effort from today's Electrician considerable work complete!

Thanks seems lots of potential once Summer passes, only trying min temps to test from tomorrow.

Slight concern from 1st overnight data, whilst 0.0 to 1.5kw heater source looks good...
Why did overnight storage only use from 00:10 to 00:20 i.e. 10 mins.-edited looks 10 rather than 20 mins.
I'm trying one or two daytime settings today, in hope that I can feel something that resembles heat form D.Q.

Have you made sure that the balance / top-up heater maximum allowed time is zero?  You don't want it automatically topping up without your knowledge.

The other caveat is that a setting of 7° is fine for testing (although a bit pointless because it won't switch on during high summer!) but would be unsuitable if you go away during winter.  10°-12° would be needed otherwise you risk condensation and mould.  It may even be specified in your insurance policy.
