    Thanks mser's
    Local temps were around 9c approx.
    I have since tried various Temps inc' 18c.
    I'm not convinced, I have 2nd opinion elecrician today to re check wiring.
    I only reduced temps on startup as don't feel need for pre set 21c, though I'll use from 10 or 12c once re checked.

    @Gerry1

    Have you made sure that the balance / top-up heater maximum allowed time is zero?
    pls explain, what am I checking exactly.

    thanks mser's

    It's probably way too warm for it. It's going to be in the low 20s today

    Quite possibly, definitely not stored anything overnight.

    To add I did use old school NSH set from 1st output dial i.e.no 1 which I run 24/7 minimum during summer.
    There is definate low temp heat to be felt, which isn't happening from DQ.

    Trying expensive On Peak to test Live feed, this is the standard socket that was since hard wired with DQ cables.

    No Immediate Fan sounds.

    While on boost is it drawing any current on your IHD and what is the internal temperature of the room it's in? Are you sure it's not higher than 21C?

    You'll need to read the instruction manual, but there will be a setting such as Auto Boost or similar.  Best to leave it Off or set the maximum period to zero because it will use electricity at the very expensive daytime rate.
    You should only use the boost if something unexpected has happened, e.g. you went away and left the heater switched off rather than programmed to resume charging up the night before your return, or there's a sudden cold snap.

    @Gerry1

    Only trying boost for 30 mins, though I could get some kind of heating or fan response.
    Absolutely Zero response.

    thanks

    I had to put mine to 23 to get the boost to kick in the other day. Try a higher temp. They won't store if you're setting them at a temperature close to what the ambient is because the algorithm will calculate no heat is needed. If you want to check it charges tell it you want something like 24 the next day
    Officially in a clique of idiots

    That info could prove decisive, Ive had another honest Electrician, Both sockets and feeds are live.
    Todays elect almost immediately proved Boost to be working, commented distinct possibility Smart Meter may not be programmed for Eco 7 switchover, though I helped as I checked Smart andNSH this morning which are working.

    If I set say 12 or 1 a.m until 17:00 or 23:30 is it going to cost a fortune?
    I thought the idea was from 00:00 until 08:30 i.e. Eco 7 times.

    thanks
