Nationwide Flex Direct

I had a Flex Direct account in January but used it to switch to another bank. I currently have no Nationwide bank accounts.
If I open another Flex Direct account will I qualify for the 5% interest?
I ask the question as the MSE guide quotes the following;
The 5% interest is only for FlexDirect newbies – if you've had this account before you'll get just 0.25%.

Their website is quite clear:If you’ve had a FlexDirect current account before, you won’t receive the 12 month credit interest offer or the interest-free overdraft offer again. However, you will get the offer on a new joint account, as long as you have not shared a FlexDirect account with that person before.

How long was your account open for? If it was only for part of a month it is just about possible it didn't trigger the "had this offer before" buzzer, or you may qualify for the offer for the remainder of the twelve months. Sadly though it is in switching t&c's that you will lose benefits associated with the account if you move it away.0

I've just opened my first flex direct to get the 5% interest.
However, it is not showing on my online banking or mobile app.
Is this normal please?
I'm an existing current account and savings account customer with Nationwide, so thought it'd appear straight away, and I could internally transfer in straight away, but when I called they said that it was showing at their end so they filed a tech ticket for why it wouldn't show at my end. They also said they can only do telephone transfers between accounts internally in emergencies. If you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

Oddly my savings accounts showed up right away, but maybe they wait for the card to be printed or something first for current accounts.
Re the transferring issues, it was my mistake - I confused the bot, and it put me through to the agent. The bot can do a transfer in any circumstance, but the agent can only request one in an emergency. Not sure why they didn't tell me how I could use the bot to do it, but anywayIf you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

If there is a zero balance it will show 0%2 -

The account itself isn't showing on the online banking or mobile app.
I do hold some over accounts with them that are showing though, so I think it may just need some time to show like @middle_of_the_road saysIf you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

Hello again @ForumUser7 ...
Just to confirm ... the account takes a working day to appear and the interest rate is not shown (inconsistently it does show for the instant saver) ... just remember to pay in £1,000 per month to retain the rate (in/out will do).
I maintain £1,500 in the account which I use for my shopping via the debit card for the 5% cashback until the end of April..1 -
@dealyboy said:Hello again @ForumUser7 ...Just to confirm ... the account takes a working day to appearThank you for confirming that for me.the interest rate is not shown (inconsistently it does show for the instant saver)I hold a FlexOne that pays interest, but the rate is not showing either. I think they don't think it is as important for current accounts to show interest rates as it is for savings accounts. I disagree with their assessment but anyways.

It took my savings account a day or two to show up in the app. They seem to be running some very antiquated systems.
