Oh gosh it turns out I forgot a few times in August!! While I was away on holiday I got about 3 pcns for the rail station! All in the same two weeks!! … could tie them up for a bit in 6 month processes!1

I continue to get letters from ZZPS and more recently from QDR solicitors for my Jan 26th 2023 parking fine at Salisbury Station (which I appealed + POPLA appealed).
I am going to be on a 1-2yr work placement in Canada (dual citizen) and renting my house out here in UK. I am assuming from reading all threads etc i just continue to ignore these letters. Do I need to do anything further before leaving in a month?

Ahhh no, this is GREAT if you play it right.
Contact QDR and the parking firm's DPO (see their privacy page) by email right now and give your Canadian address and tell them to ERASE the UK address, because Canada is now your permanent domicile.
DO NOT say 'I will be moving from xx date' and do not say "a 1-2yr work placement in Canada (dual citizen)". That would give them a chance to file a claim at you in the UK.
Do as advised and call Canada your permanent domicile. Give the full address. Use the word ERASE.

Ah ok, that seems pretty straightforward. I had a look at APCOA's website and their DPO - dpo@apcoa.com
The letter above just seems like their standard debt collection BS with the contravention almost 8 months ago.
I have 1 other PCN I appealed (just today haven't had a response yet). Anything specific i should do with that one given the move?
Thanks for the help!0 -
Sorry to jump in on here as I am going through APCOA Railway situation as well but I thought the whole thing would have been timed out by 6 months so unsure why you are still receiving solicitors' letters?0
-
Yes, this should have timed out on the 26th of July which is 6 months after the Penalty Notice was issued.1

This letter is specially for the Jan 26th offense and (appeal + popla appeal) event. I would have thought it now expired but I guess they just keep sending debt collection letters?
