KeithP said:You Claim History states "DQ sent to you on 21/07/2023".
Doesn't the letter that accompanied it say you have twenty-eight days to complete and return your Directions Questionnaire?
So firstly, you are nowhere near the deadline for returning it.
Secondly, the CCBC are about two months behind with their processing of DQs.
And thirdly, if the CCBC do mislay your completed DQ, they will write again giving you another seven days to comply.
In summary - nothing to worry about.
"You must by 8 August 2023 complete the Small Claims Directions Questionnaire (Form N180) and file it with the court office and serve copies on all other parties"0 -
Why don't you just complete the form now and email it? It should take you all of 10 minutes to complete.1

I don't understand the problem.1 -

No problem except for the fact MoneyClaim is not showing that CCBC has received the DQ N180 I emailed 6 weeks ago. All I have is the automated email acknowledgement that I sent CCBC an email, and they received my email. The acknowledgement does not mention any specifics about the email I sent though, just that they acknowledge they received an email from me.
Should I be concerned it's not yet showing? Do you have any guidance on this? I am just worried that something has happened and next thing I receive a judgement.

The CNBC seem to be a couple of months behind with their processing.
I don't think you have anything to worry about - you have an email acknowledgment that they received your emailed DQ.
But if you are still concerned, give the CNBC a ring - their number is on your Claim Form.1 -
Just an update...
My DQ N180 is finally showing as received on 29 September 2023 on moneyclaim.gov.uk, two months after I emailed to the CCBC. I also received a letter that the case has been transferred to my local court house.
Then today I get DCBLegal calling with "Our client would like to settle" so I said "No thank you"
With some luck maybe they will discontinue before I need to do a witness statement and waste more time on this nonsense. Guess it won't happen though.1 -

So received my 3rd call from DCBLegal today asking if I want to discuss a settlement to which I replied "No thank you" for a 3rd time.
Is this DCBLegal's MO where they keep on phoning asking for a settlement? Just seems a little desperate from them LOL0 -
Yes that's their MO before discontinuing.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

LOL, call number 4 to inform me "they have a strong case" but they want to be nice and offer me a settlement, can we discuss over the phone. So I said no, send it to me by email please.
Not that I will be entertaining it, just irritated that are wasting my time, so lets waste theirs for a bit.
PS: When he was going on about this and that and time and money, I said "Just discontinue it then" to which he stumbled a bit and that's when he said "they have a strong case"Also told him this is the 4th call, you guys are sounding desperate for such a strong case.
