Don't just give the PPC the VRM.

Tell them that you rang up the creators of Zatpark (Unity 5) and they said blah blah blah...so you expect no more lies or procrastination.

After giving NPM the Vehicle Reg, they very very kindly (!) sent over all 9 PCNs linked to the vehicle, despite Gladstones sending through 3 individual LBCs for assumingly just 3 PCNs (although I'm aware NPM can only send one claim for all).

I thought I'd let the lovely lady do some work before I told them that I'd caught them out ref ZatPark (thanks for the advice @Coupon-mad). This lady btw seems to be very skilled and is the recipient at the end of all of their various email addresses.

That was back on 9th March and I never received a response after that despite, her quick replies when challenging their inability to fulfill a SAR.

3 weeks have now gone by and I've heard nothing. Would you recommend I start planning the defence now just in case they do pursue it? Sounds like a silly question but I'm just wondering what the likelihood is at this stage given everyone's experience.

I visited the road in question last week and seemingly, my NPM mates no longer 'manage' the road anymore for whatever reason.

I think wait and see now.

It's a game of cat & mouse and they will lose the mouse (you) in the end, probably at court claim stage which is where it all ends.

  • So it's been almost a year since I last posted. In August 2023, Gladstone's sent me a second letter with even more claim numbers and again, stated they had tried to reach me at a former address despite me emailing them in March 2023 to instruct them to send all correspondence to my new address. That was August 2023.

Fast forward to 31st Jan 2024 and I finally get a response from them, stating they've heard nothing back nor anything from debt management companies after I claimed to be receiving debt advice. Of course they are demanding payment within 30 days before my friends at NPM make a court case.

It's now been 6 years since the 'alleged offences'. I'm assuming there's not time limit when it comes to chasing motorists for cash?

When is the 6 years up?

Easier perhaps, so we can be exact: please list the dates of ALL the PCNs they are chasing.

So with the exception of the earlier February issue, the others fall shy of 6 years

I don't know what 'fall shy of 6 years' means but it looks to me that only the first event on that list is statute barred.
The second on that list suffers the same fate in seven days unless a Claim is issued in that time.
The last two have several months of 'life' left in them.

I am assuming that the format of all those dates is dd/mm/yyyy.
  • Correct- dd/mm/yyyy

I'm assuming they can't file a claim before 13/02 if on 31/01 they 'offer' 30 days to cave
