I’m no good at interpreting plans so all I can suggest is doing what I did as I too wanted the microwave off the surfaces and out of sight as far as possible.
I had a single oven in a tall housing unit with a combination oven/microwave installed above it. It looks like two ovens, which it is, although one is also a microwave. Perfect solution as well as giving you more than one oven.

Love alderbanks mixer shelf but would it really take the heavy microwave?
Don't you just need a socket in a cupboard?
GDBs idea would give you so much cupboard and prep space. What is the reason for a sofa in the kitchen? I have seen cushioned pew seats that go with the table.
No one has mentioned the brackets to lift the microwave off the surface to under the wall cupboards. Search brackets for microwave gives all sorts. Or put it in a (reinforced) wall cupboard.
We had one of those, our daughter has it now as we gave our very heavy old Kenwood mixer to her.  The mixer is much heavier than a small microwave!

We have our microwave diagonally across a  corner of the worktop, this space would otherwise be used for storing other items or just be a "dumping ground".

If we were designing a new kitchen, I would get a microwave with a drop down door and build it into a tall unit of a suitable depth.

Our son has one like that, but theirs is built into a base unit under their hob.

Another option is to have a dresser type unit with a roll down door that a freestanding  microwave could be concealed in.

OP.....I would be having a lot more units, and worktop, if it was my kitchen!  I would be using the space beyond the chimney breast and probably even right round to the french doors, and the space  to the right of the outside(?) door, bottom right on your plan.

That would be an ideal position for less frequently used items, or a pull out larder type thing.

And regarding the island, have you considered a movable unit rather than a fixed island?
Something on either legs or wheels.

When we redid our kitchen in 2016 we chose to have two ovens as in the picture below.

The lower oven is a standard oven, the upper oven is a combination microwave oven.

We much prefer this layout to the previous under counter single oven and counter top microwave.

A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".

Not sure if this helps. This was when we went to wren . The plan's we are not going with as not having the sink in the island al but shows the otherside which is currently the old kitchen which will be the new dinning room.

the magnet we prefer but as you can see the alcove the side of the chimney breast and our doos will be there so can't have a tower on that side as it'll stick out too much. There will be a radiator the other side of the door so that wall can't be used
Having a dining table in the middle of the kitchen will not work for us as a family as it's always full of the kids stuff and don't really want a cluttered table in the middle.
Think it's back to the drawing board.

Maybe a curved microwave such as the Hotpoint Curve ?
Also worth considering a plinth (kickstrip) heater - A bit more expensive than a standard radiator, but takes up zero space. Having a nice warm breeze at floor level is quite nice too.

A photo someone posted on another thread, it looks like the microwave is on the right of the range cooker underneath a cupboard and flush with it. Similar to Alderbank's solution except you don't have to open the cupboard first, but it still looks good imo:

    How high is that?

I would not like to use an oven above shoulder height.

There is too much potential for a dangerous spillage all over your face and upper body.

Hi! You may have already answered, but why are your units not running to the end on the window side? Seems like a huge fridge/freezer for 6 useable units.
