MeandO said:Thanks Sarahwithlove. To be honest, I know it would just exacerbate issues now and probably make things worse for both DS and myself so i just try and make sure DS knows what he does and doesn't have to put up with from the ex.
Unfortunately medexpress won't allow me to use a referral code now as I am already registered with them and ordered the first 2.5mg dose from them. They messed the order up completely then refused to prescribe when I'd made two complaints, so I'm technically and existing customer, sorry!

Someone collected an item I advertised for free today so that’s one more item out of the house and reused by someone else. I’ve advertised a couple of items tonight on marketplace but am not sure if they’ll sell, if not, they’ll be going to the charity shop soon. I’ve also sorted out a few cookbooks to go too after sorting out the kitchen a bit this evening. I went through the food cupboard earlier too and threw out things that were out of date and now the cupboard is much more organised.Yesterday I spent just over £26 on new plumbing supplies to fix the under kitchen sink leak. I was determined to try and do it myself and save £’s on a plumber, but it was an absolute nightmare. It doesn’t appear to be leaking at the moment so I may have fixed it despite all the swearing and very nearly tears at one point! I’m keeping an eye on it for a couple of days before putting everything back in the cupboard to double check it’s not leaking.I received my car insurance renewal today - £386! I wasn’t paying that, so compared prices and found a quote with a well reviewed company with the same or better cover for £253. Quite a saving. I’ve paid for it using the CC and transferred the money straight away with funds from the car pot.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,956.86

Continuing with the decluttering mood I'm currently in, I sorted through some more clothes this week and now have a charity bag full and ready to be dropped off. I want to get the rest of my wardrobe done first though and be ruthless about what I'm keeping as I'm sure there's more that can go. I don't have very many clothes - just one drawer with tops in, 1 with jeans/leggings and a single wardrobe, but there's stuff in that wardrobe I've not worn in a long time and have been holding onto as I was aware I don't have much to wear so kept it 'just in case.' There is also stuff I don't really like, but have been keeping because I don't want to spend money on replacing things, but it's got to go! I only have about 4 tops/t shirts to wear now though so I do need to find some cheap replacements.
I also have a couple of pillows to get rid of and a duvet that I need to store somehow. The Vac bags seem like a good idea, but I always find they lose their seal and puff up again, leaving things stuck under the bed as it's then too big to get back out!
£13 odd has been received in interest in the ISA, so I need to update the signature to reflect that. I've also topped the car pot back up to £600 and have £50 that is sat in the bank account at the moment as a buffer, but can go to a saving pot once I get paid if I don't need it before then. Still waiting to find out how much I will receive in back pay this month too.
A bundle of DS's too small clothes sold on vinted for £25 so I'm hoping he'll stash that in his 'big trip' spending pot as he has plenty for spending in his bank account at the moment. I'll suggest it to him once the funds are received.
Funds in the bank account are now low and I have just over £50 left for the week (plus the £50 buffer I don't want to use). We have plenty of groceries in and the car is nearly full of petrol so it's just a case of being careful and not spending anything this weekend.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,956.86

The vinted parcel is now packed and ready to post this afternoon and another 5 or 6 items of clothing from my wardrobe have gone in the charity bag.
I started a refund request for a Christmas gift I'd ordered for DS which was nearly £20 but I thought was not worth the money when it arrived today and definitely wasn't as it looked online. It was instantly refunded and I was told there was no need to return the item, so it will be a little gift for DS and now I'm not so fussed if he doesn't like it.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,956.86

I’ve listed 3 more items on vinted this evening, hopefully they sell, making around £25.DS sorted through his clothes this evening. I knew he’d grown as he now towers over me and I’m tall, but it looked like all of his joggers/trousers had fallen out with his ankles! The only ones he has that now fit are the two pairs that I had bought for Christmas but gave to him a few weeks ago when loads of others were too small for him and one pair of those have yet to make it back from his Father’s house. I’ve raided the Christmas gifts again and have just given him two new tracksuits which were reserved for Christmas, so have just ordered yet more joggers for a Christmas for him. Now he’s older, unfortunately primarni joggers don’t cut it anymore and won’t get worn, so it’s pointless buying stuff he won’t wear. He offered to pay or make do with the one pair, bless him, but it’s not his fault he’s grown so much. I’ve ordered 4 more pairs and a jumper now which have cost me another small fortune as it’s sports branded, but I should get around £25 cash back back from that to spend in the store another time, which takes my total ‘credit’ up to around £90 with them now. I also answered a survey they sent me this week for another £5 of points.
in a slight panic, I’ve gone through all of the gifts I have bought for everyone so far and listed what/who I need to buy for. Unfortunately, my gifts pot is now empty after today’s spend, so the back pay will have to go straight to that pot now. I was expecting that but it would have been great if I could have sent some elsewhere too. At least I’m not in debt anyway, the CC is all paid off. I’m planning on looking at my budget after Christmas and rejigging it to try and add more to the gifts pot next year as I always seem to have nothing left in it come December.DS and everything he had on him came home mud coloured today after a wet sporting event, so everything has gone in the wash. School bag, coat, shoes, uniform and DS himself who had a hot bath when he came in! I’ve had to use the dryer a lot more than usual today to get it all dry for tomorrow, but unfortunately it was necessary.Dinner tonight is meatballs and pasta sauce made with lots of veggies from the fridge and some tinned tomatoes. Still focusing on keeping the grocery budget down until pay day. The spare £50 will now def have to go towards the gifts pot!Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,956.86

There was a portion of spaghetti left over tonight which I’ll use up tomorrow, the leftover pasta sauce has gone in the freezer for use at a later date.I’ve continued the decluttering tonight and have finished sorting my wardrobe, with two more items I found in there now listed on vinted and possibly another couple tomorrow once I’ve tried them on to see if they fit and if I’d wear them. I found several unused notebooks which I’ve put to one side for my Mum as she uses them daily and a top and coat aside for my sister as I think she’d like them. An old towel I used to use when I dyed my hair has been thrown out now that I go to the hairdressers and several more items have gone in the charity bag. I also found an unused vac bag so I will try to shrink the spare duvet down tomorrow to possibly under the bed. Actually, I should probably check what’s under the bed and if there’s anything else to get rid of under there. That’s now on tomorrow’s list! Just a couple of baskets on top of my wardrobe to go through and a mini drawer unit next to my bed and then the bedroom’s done.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,956.86

A 2nd vinted item sold yesterday and I've just posted both of them so £45 will be on the way eventually.
I've just picked up a few groceries we were low on and some medication whoch bumped the price up. I fidn't have time to get to a cheaper store so have had to buy it from sainsbos. £20.02 spent there today so am hoping to keep any other spends under £30 until Monday now.

DS and I had a lovely tea of caramelised onion sausages with roast veggies and all the trimmings. Sausages were a YS buy from the freezer, veggies we all had in so no extra £’s spent.
I realised tonight that my Mum had bought herself several of the books from the box set that Inhave bought her for her birthday, so back to the drawing board on the gift! Luckily, I can still return it, so that will be £23 back to the card when I send it off tomorrow. I’ve found out which books she doesn’t have and have ordered those for her instead at a cost of £13.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,956.86

My payslip for this month has now been generated and I'll receive just over £575 more thanks to the backpay. A large chunk will go towards topping the gifts pot back up as I still have a fair few Christmas presents to buy and it's also DS's and OH's birthdays early in the new year. Some will go towards my next injection if I decide to continue paying for them, as I'm having mixed results now and I'm not sure the cost is entirely worth it. I'll decide what to do with the rest when it's actually in my bank account.
I need to post the amazon parcel back today for a refund and possibly pick up some eggs at some point. We don't need anything else.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £51,956.86
