I’ve done a bit of gardening this evening and my tomato plants now have new (recycled from last year) supports and are tied up to them, as are the French beans. I’ve actually picked two big red strawberries tonight as well! They always taste amazing when home grown. I’ve planted about 10 tiny lavender plants which have seeded from my lavender path. Hopefully they’ll grow into new plants I can put elsewhere. The lavender is looking stunning at the moment, I’ll try and add a photo of it if I can figure out how.I’ve half-heartedly sorted through a couple of small drawers in my bedroom and put a few bits I never wear in the charity bag - charity shop buys that never really suited me. There are two items which I’ll attempt to put on vinted for a little bit of extra cash at some point.I’ve wrapped OH’s eBay parcel, ready to send tomorrow and have packaged up some birthday cards which need to be sent to family. I have a morning off tomorrow and am attending a fitness class I really enjoyed last week so am looking forward to that.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £49,869.55

Your lavender looks really nice , how nice to have things growing. Always read along but rarely comment , but have to say glad you have joined the gym something for yourself. I think you do really well with your finances as well, that mortgage is coming down fast.Your son is lucky to have you as his mum as he never misses out when he is with you . His dad sounds like a nightmare . Have a good rest of the week.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.3

I really enjoyed this morning’s fitness class even though I had to take a few hours of flexi off work to attend. If only I could do that every week. I went straight back to work, then picked DS up early from school for a hospital appointment. I was hoping he’d be discharged but the specialist wants to do another test yet. At least he’s been thoroughly checked out by the team in the 13 years he’s been under them. The vinted item sold so that will be £20 coming my way when it’s received. I’ve packaged it up ready to post tomorrow. I still haven’t listed any other items but do have a little pile ready to list.Mortgage @ 03/2019: £125,000, Now: £49,869.55

Not a good day today, my wonderful Mum is really poorly in hospital again and we're waiting for news on what can be done to help her. I feel like someone's drained the life out of me today and I'm just functioning on limp mode. I'm trying to keep busy but keep getting upset. I feel like I should be doing something productive but I don't know what.
More **** from the ex yesterday hasn't helped. I won't go into detail, but the selfishness, arrogance and audacity of that man never ceases to amaze me.
The bank balance is looking OK ish for now but I will need to keep being careful with money this month. The UC has been updated and I will receive a hefty £6.25 this month. I was expecting £0, so anything is better than nothing, I guess. I'll just send it straight to one of the savings pots - probably the one for DS's clothes/school uniform etc as I've just spent nearly £32 out of there on something he needed and there's not a lot left in there as I only put £25 a month in it.
DS has asked for a friend to come over and watch the football tomorrow, so I need to pop to Ald! later and pick up some pizzas and snacks for them. I'm not shelling out on pizza delivery prices. We don't need much else in the way of shopping so it should be a relatively low-cost shop.
I posted the vinted parcel last night so an extra £20 should be mine soon. I'm just about to walk to the post office to post OH's ebay parcel, at least it's sunny at the moment so shall enjoy the sunshine.
