UKPC fake PCN

I parked in a carpark "controlled" by UKPC yesterday and left the site to make a blood donation. I returned and visited a store, as I had planned to, and made a purchase. When I returned to the car it had a fake PCN (is it still in order to refer to it as such?) attached to the windscreen alleging "Vehicle owner/driver left site."
I am not the registered keeper of the car; my partner is.
I plan to contest the ticket as I did use a store on the site.
In the first instance I plan to write to the store that I used to complain and insist that they immediately arrange for the ticket to be cancelled. Is there a template letter anywhere? Should I include a copy of the ticket and a copy of the store receipt? Should I do that now as I have a fake PCN or should I wait until the keeper receives a Notice to Keeper?
If they do receive a NTK I assume they can appeal and declare that they were not driving?
Thanks in advance for any help. Please ask if I can provide any other information safely.

Another load of rubbish from UKPC.
First thing you must do is complain to the retailer where you purchased a product with receipt and get them to cancel this.
Follow the NEWBIES thread
UKPC don't know who you are and can only obtain the registered keeper from the DVLA
A SAR to UKPC is in order asking for proof of their claim and pictures of the signs that warns people
As with all UKPC signs, you need binoculars to read them
It's not a fake PCN, just a SCAM PCN3 -
I have taken a look at the Newbies thread, which is very useful. I am sure the info I need is in there somewhere but there is a lot of it so I appreciate your reply.
I guess the store need to know the reference number of the PCN? Sorry, that might be obvious but should I be concerned that I am sharing my name with the store?

Yes, I would think they need that. IF you paid by card, they have your name anyway ! If you have a 'clubcard' or similar, ditto address

The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.3 -
The driver should do nothing!
The registered keeper should complain to the landowner or retail manager and/or CEO, and their MP without revealing the driver's identity.
If a landowner cancellation is not forthcoming then the keeper should appeal around day 26 using the template in blue text from the NEWBIES. The keeper should add that UKPC have provided no proof that the driver left site, nor is the site boundary defined on signs at the site.I married my cousin. It's a speculative Parking Charge Notice or an invoice so not exactly a "fake PCN" it's more an add on scam that UKPC use to extort more money out of victims. There has only been one leaving site claim taken to court to our knowledge and that was laughed out, but UKPC have been bluffing all the way recently on their bullying campaign, you just need strong resolve.4

So.. sorry... I can do that; I live with the registered keeper, but the registered keeper may not know of the ticket until they are written to...0 -
They will know about it if you hand them the NTD. They can then follow the advice above. You can help with the legwork if they wish, but everything must be done in the keeper's name.
It is important that there is no mention of the driver leaving site in any complaint or in any appeal, nor on this forum.
This is an easy one to beat, but the process needs to be followed as already advised.
Complaints by the keeper
Initial Keeper appeal to UKPC on day 25 - 26 if that fails
Keeper appeal to PoPLA if the initial appeal fails, which should kill it off.

Many thanks for the advice.0

When you do you SAR ask them for their CCTV, their Ticketer's witness statement including times and descriptions of the "driver" leaving site and his records of their attempts to "mitigate loss" by stopping or advising them etc - issuing sneaky PCNs won't help the centre. THEY WON'T HAVE any of this basic evidence which is why you must ask for it on a SAR so you have it in black and white should these clowns ever push for court. There is no lawful purpose to use CCTV for this reason even if they did have it. Again they are total chancers who are hoping people will get frightened, be unaware of their rights and then cave in and pay!6

Morning. I have been unable to establish the email address of the CEO of the store that I visited. I can post the store name if that's "safe" and if anyone thinks they can help.
I'm chatting to the Facebook messenger account for the store chain and they tell me they can't tell me the CEO's email address... I found one address but it failed...0
