Just a thought but have you gone back over your bank statements to see if there were any transactions which may evidence that you paid for a service etc. on that day? They are usually available online for a number of years.

There is no evidence that you left the site so this is a try on. Possibly an employee who had not made their quota for the day.

Hi again guys , it's now been over 4 weeks since defence was filed and haven't heard anything back . Is this normal ? How long does it take to proceed to the next step ?  Any advice ?
It is all fully explained in the second post of the Newbies/FAQ thread.

You were expecting that weren't you?

Item 7 on that checklist you were following when you filed a Defence says...

Items 8, 9 and 10 on that list might also be worth another look.

Well I like baiting the scammers so I would reply just for fun:

    Dear Sarah,

Having reviewed the content of your Particulars, I am writing to inform you that I intend to proceed with the defence.

The court will indeed direct both parties to file directions questionnaires in due course and I don't need your template letter to tell me that, thanks all the same.

Nor am I impressed by the fact a firm if solicitors is still using the old (outdated a year ago) 2022 version DQ but I guess anything goes in bulk litigation, eh?

I won't be phoning you within 7 days, not even if you put it in big.

Crack on with the inevitable discontinuance.

    Yours sincerely,

Need a similarly sarky one to send for when they discontinue.

hey guys , just to keep you updated i have now filed and emailed to the court and dcblegal the N180 directions questionaire.
On the MCOL website it states : DQ filed by claimant on 18/05/2023 .
But they haven't sent me copy of that at all !!!  Shall i bug them and demand a copy of the completed DQ or not bother ?

Thanks for taking the time to read and advise

You said you have filed your own DQ - did you receive the blank pro forma from the CCBC, or have you jumped the gun and downloaded your own for completion?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I received the blank one in a letter , but decided to download and complete a pdf one and email as it's less hastle. I have completed and emails it to all parties last Friday ... Keep checking the claim money online to see if it appears there . I have still not received DCBL's DQ ? Although it says on the site sent to defendant .
