Thanks for the lists.
Our master bedroom is empty at the minute (we are sleeping on sofa bed) as it is number 2 of 3 to be decorated. Finished bedroom 1 at the weekend.
Had a long walk to shops and back (ended up at 8 miles round trip) as car has an engine that taps and is off to the mechanic tomorrow. So, today I have:
1. Taken down curtains in master bedroom to take to dry cleaners tomorrow.
2. Removed dcs fairy lights from master bedroom (we let them have the room while they were all sharing as bunks were too big to be separated in 2nd bedroom)
3. Filled where the fixing strips removed the paint - no damage... really?!
4. Cleared master bedroom of everything except dismantled King size bed and ladder.
Vacuumed down stairs and landing.
5. 1x wm - bedsheets we are using.
Still to do:
1. Clean fridge (food delivery tonight)
2. Wrap ds birthday presents (not until next month but want to see if there is anything I need to get).2024 decluttering Campaign

Well today has gone as expected. Nothing touched in the Master bedroom, temper lost with the County FA and subsequent snotty email sent, dogs walked and had a cuppa with my friend while all the boys played football on the field. I'm invoking my inner Valli-mantra of putting things away, but the progress looks negligible.
Glad missing suitcase has been found Kaz - it's a real fear of mine that it would happen to me, especially flying OUT on holiday!
Ooh, I have sorted the recycling out - just need to remember to take it outside the driveway gates for collection this week and a well-woman appointment booked with my GP - soonest I was offered isn't until a month's time.
WM on 2nd run of the day, washing up done and a small amount of paper shuffling done. Urgh, I don't like Mondays...9 -
Glad the AWOL case turned up! Naughty thing wanted a bit more holiday clearly.
Girls collected.. Twinkle screamed the ENTIRE way home.. 20 minutes of howling.. for no reason whatsoever.. How I managed to not bin her is anyone's guess and a miracle.
OH survived and the x-SIL survived the first days at new jobs.. OH said it is weird finishing in daylight lol.
I have the DW to empty *GRIN*, pack ups to sort, a couple of beasts to bath,, dinner in next.. oh.. washing to bring in and more to hang out and fold the dry stuff..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)11 -
Crazycatlady2 said:1 interview secured for Friday….it’s a start I guess 😂
Annual review with my boss over and done with, and I've emailed the signed form to the person who deals with them. I've also posted the birthday cards.
Glad to say that I feel better this afternoon than I did this morning - probably as a result of having double the dose of one medication and being able to sleep for an hour.11 -
Good luck crazycatlady2

Please, please can you all slow down!! I can’t run fast enough (errr, hardly at all) these days to keep up with you all.
Thank you, Natty, for the lists, and Valli for last week’s.
I opened the bedroom window yesterday morning - kerrr-ching, I have done something from level 1 😇. Towels been through the wm, smell fresh, so I guess DH has managed to get them hung outside at some point today.
Day off tomorrow, although as the penny has just dropped that February only has 28 days and I have end of month deadlines, I can feel the stress levels going stratospheric.
Enjoy gazing at your dw, Piggers 🤣
Iona, my waggy finger is twitching. Take it easy x
Kaz, love that DH’s suitcase took an extra few days to visit Iona on its way home!

Pegged washing out. Brought it in. Put stuff I can get away without ironing on maiden. Ys sausages out of freezer for tea, peeled veg and cooked so go me. Am beginning to feel more human, nipped to coop for milk and bought the freezer filler offer. Have suggested to DD that she starts to eat the ice cream, as there’s a lot and I don’t like it (though I will eat Magnums, so it’s best I don’t buy them). This latest lot is a tub of dairy milk ice cream. I’d have to be starving to eat chocolate ice cream. Anyway purchase of freezer filler offer means freezers are full. So whatever meals I make need to not have freezable leftovers…Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Iona glad you are improving again.
- wardrobe fitter arrived before 8am and was finished by 9am so they are all done, no more excuses for me having stuff lying about waiting for wardrobes to be complete. I put a few things in before going to:
- zumba. A very jolly session; it is a new (before Christmas) class for me as my usual class is postponed; it's a zumba gold which basically means I am the youngest (at 64!) and find it a little .....slower.... than I'm used to. However, today and seemingly without prior warning, 3 'carer' staff and 10-15 young people with learning difficulties turned up to try it. That raised the level of noise and energy no end - most of us loved it and would welcome them back; of course some said it was too noisy!!
- did a bit more of a report intermittently during the day (and now)
- caught up with emails
- finished cleaning out the greenhouse.
- tidied away a load of clutter from the dressing table and bedside table, which is sadly most of what I did in the master bedroom despite my good intentions. Still, it's a start.
- did some drum practiceRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.13
