Use this link to give them the pac code once you have the lebara sim card https://mobile.lebara.com/gb/en/portinMouldyOldDough said:flaneurs_lobster said:
There's a current MSE deal for a Lebara rolling 1-month contract SIM, 99p/mth.MouldyOldDough said:What about "tryng the new SIM" first before transferring ?If I order a SIM from Lebara - it obviously won't work - until we pay - but is there any way of seeing whether it connects at a good speed before transferring ?99p for 6 months - for 3Gb on a rolling contract - can't be bad - done it - thanksnext step ?Wait for new SIM to arrive and txt "PAC" to 65075 (from old SIM) which will provide a code which we then give to Lebara (how ?)
You need to activate the lebara sim first - instructions will come on the letter with the sim0 -
Just make sure that you are happy with the Lebara service (signal strength, call quality, SMS receipt, data speed, Wi-Fi calling etc) before you switch your number.SaverRate said:

Agreed, but the PAC system is not without it's occasional lapses, better not to if you don't have to, especially if your number is long-standing and important to you.SaverRate said:

Problem obtaining the code from Virgin
I texted PAC to 65075 with the old SIM
Received a response "oops you've made a mistake, use PAC dd/mm/yyyy" date of birth
Tried that... Same. Response....

Try
PAC ddmmyyyy
no dashes, 4-digit year0 -
From Virgins website
How to switch provider and take my number
If you’d like to take your number with you to your new mobile provider, you’ll need a PAC
To get a PAC: simply text ‘PAC’ and your date of birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format) to 65075
For example: PAC 01/03/1985
When we receive your request, we’ll send your PAC to you straight away by text message. Give your PAC to your new provider and your number will be transferred to your new mobile services
It repeatedly failed

Have any of you lot recently successfully used the PAC txt method with virgin?
According to https://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2019/06/ofcoms-new-text-to-switch-process-for-uk-mobile-operators-begins.html you just need the word PAC not PAC dd/mm/yyyy
