    Hi @Islarosie101 ...
I’ve been waiting in my first direct incentive since my switch completed on 6th March. I know it says 28 days but most people I’ve seen have received it within a week. Anyone waited longer and then received it?
Did you receive the text saying that it was on its way to your account and would be showing there in the next few days? I received that on 9th March but hasn't shown yet. My switch also completed on 6th March.
No I haven’t received anything about it at all which isn’t sounding great! I’ve definitely met all of the criteria so hopefully it’s on its way. Seems to be the slowest of all the switches I’ve done so far!
OK, I presume you've had your account details and welcome e-mails and letters and paid in/out £1,000. I would give them a call, just to check on incentive progress.

I received mine this morning, but if you haven't yet I think it's probably because they've been snowed under recently what with the extra incentive ... but as you say they are allowing themselves 28 days.
Contacted them this morning, they said it’s done automatically and asked me a few questions to see if I’d qualified, they said yes you should get it by April 3rd (28 days after switch) they wouldn’t really give any info on if it’s paid out in order of sw itch dates etc.
Looks like I’ll just have to wait!
... well goodish news, but they didn't check your specific progress did they, just a fact check. If it's not paid by that date then they will have failed their switch T&Cs and will be time for a complaint and hopefully with a little bonus coming your way.

@IslaRosie if its any consolation I'm also waiting on an incentive, from RBS, they have until Monday.

I’ve just opened a First direct account and a burn account with Nationwide (I’ve recently transferred my nationwide current account to rbs for the £200, savings still with nationwide).

Question is, when I go to transfer my account to nationwide - does it need active standing orders or direct debits?

    Thanks

Did you mean switch Nationwide burner to FD? for the incentive? - no SOs or DDs required.

Just make sure that you can still access your savings if you switch away your current accounts.
With some banks you can only access the money via a current account, I don't know if this is the case with Nationwide.

Which was the reason I signed up to Monzo. Guess I can close that one too.
