We are in the process of signing up for Flux. Bit crafty, I had an email today saying they were ready to import, and I had to tick the T&Cs to go ahead. But when they accepted my application a few days ago, they said it will take six weeks before I can export.

My transition to FLUX export seems to be in progress but received this email today, hope its just an automatic response but I have not changed my supplier, anyone else receive this when moving their FIT export to octopus?

I had the same email, even though I had sent them my meter readings. I checked on my newly set up Octopus account and my meter readings were listed, so I ignored the email
  • I'm trying to sign up to the flux tariff but for some reason it's asking me for the DNO document / MPAN number etc

I'm already with octopus and have given them all these details a year ago, since then I've been on agile outgoing then the standard seg tariff with octopus go over winter, I've made sure I'm signed in on the website but for some reason it's treating me as a new customer whenever I go to the flux sign up page, am I doing something wrong? Since they already have all my details surely I shouldn't need to provide everything again ??

  • Seems to be standard, I've had to provide this every time I've changed export...

Seriously? Bit poor I gotta say, I've only changed export tariff once previously and that was over the phone so didn't come across this issue, thanks for clarifying.

I phoned Them, hoping to swap from agile to flux over the phone to avoid this faff, but they insisted I signed up online. It was annoying!
But very quick to switch once I actually submitted the application.
And the financial benefits more than outweigh this annoyance..

Rang them and asked if this was all needed as already on Agile. I was sent an email to agree T&C,  switched over in minutes to Flux import and the export updated the following day.

I previously tried email with Octopus, but it was slow and communication was poor. I then tried Twitter and the results were much better. It's the only reason I have a Twitter account.

My transition to FLUX export is complete with yesterdays export showing in my account total time from application was 17 days, not bad as I was with Eon for export.  Not sure if my FIT has been switched as well but I have a couple of months to clarify that.

Has anyone with only solar and an EV signed up yet? I mean, with no static domestic battery. I am having some issues with the sign up webpage and am trying to work out if it is my IT or that when signed in, the system recognises that there's no battery linked to my account.
