Can I ask why you're going to discharge from 0500-2259 and then 0000-0200 everyday? I can't see the logic in that, but might have missed something.EcoScruples said:

Just sorting the switch with Octopus now.On Huawei, the Time Of Use options are:- Discharging, where the battery will be used to meet any load that exceeds solar generation.- Charging, where the battery is charged from the grid- No setting, where the battery level is maintained and any load that exceeds solar generation is supplied from the grid.6.4kWp (16 * 400Wp REC Alpha) facing ESE + 5kW Huawei inverter + 10kWh Huawei battery. Thank you. I've got Growatt batteries, so setting discharge would mean discharging to the grid during those times. Makes sense now!Magnitio said:powerful_Rogue said:

Keep bugging them, it took several weeks to arrange my installation which included emails but more so Twitter DM's which seems to be their preferred method.Niv said:It is very frustrating seeing the weather start to pick up but I cant get paid for my export as Octopus are unable to install a smart meter at my place yet...0 -
I'm on Flux import but not export yet.. I guess I should have kept my "go" swapped my export to Octopus THEN switched to Flux. Oh well I'm sure it will get sorted eventually, its just over 2 weeks since I switched and only the last couple of days would have seen me exporting any significant amount.
EDIT Just had my account updated to say "export MPAN should start on 7 April", if that happens it will be about 2.5 weeks since my switch to FLUX.. not bad as this includes moving me from Eon

Thanks for the Twitter tip. I will continue to bug them. They said its something to do with who is registered responsible for my current meter. Although we are now octopus we were part of the bulb acquisition and on the face of it we are fully octopus but in the background there are still things they need to finaliseUnclefoobar said:

How long do Octopus normally take to set up new export customers, recently moved to them after getting solar & battery fitted, frustrating to be exporting electric on nice days without payment currently0

Loving this tariff and certainly looking forward to much longer sunnier days.
