Can you not just submit the one for the 26th to prove that you did pay something, alongside the RingGo email you already have confirming that it is their a mistake and should say 27th?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Does this sound like a reasonable response?

    ---

Thank you for your correspondence of April 6th, 2023, requesting a copy of proof of payment. Email confirmation of the payment has already been provided by the Technical Team at RingGo for January 27th, along with a copy of my bank statement clearly showing payment was made to TPS. I am now attaching a copy of the VAT receipt from RingGo, which was clearly issued on January 27th, 2023 for vehicle HY16XGT.

As stated in my email of March 13th, 2023, full payment was made in good faith for a parking session at the University of Surrey (24745) on January 27th, 2023. The driver does not have control over the data recorded by the pay-by-phone company. They can only be held responsible for their own acts or omissions; not those of another party or their agents. The terms and conditions do not state at the outset that the driver will be held responsible for the accuracy of the data recorded and maintained by the pay-by-phone company. Indeed, given the information provided in PCN AT4573438 payment was made on the same day that the alleged parking offence occurred. I, therefore, contend that the alleged contravention did not occur and there was no breach of contract.

I continue to contend that your PCN is a vague and inaccurate template. As previously stated on March 13th, 2023, I require an explanation of the allegation and your evidence. In your correspondence, you allege that the driver of the vehicle made "No Payment". You then go on to state that "the terms and conditions, to which the driver agrees to be contractually bound upon entering the carpark, are clearly placed in prominent places throughout the site”. Along with evidence that payment was not made, you must include a close-up actual photograph of the sign you contend was at the location on the material date as well as your unaltered/unenhanced images of the vehicle parked and breaching the parking terms and conditions. Two photographs of the vehicle are provided, however neither show it definitively parked in the location you allege. Furthermore, without a copy of the ‘terms and conditions’ you claim exist, I am not satisfied the driver breached them.

    ---

I'm wondering if I should put in something about ANPR as that is the basis of the evidence they are using to say the alleged offence occurred. Thoughts?

I've provided an email from RingGo confirming I paid on the 27th plus a copy of my bank statement showing payment made to TPS. TPS want a copy of the electronic VAT receipt, which states the session was on the 26th. RingGo won't issue another, so I'm a bit stuck.

If you go to the Ringo app click on My account then receipts every paid for session is listed.
If you click on the session in question a screen opens up with a printable downloadable VAT receipt listing everything including session, date, time, your address, and landowner/payees address.
As I understand it the OP says the VAT receipt shows the 26th not the 27th of Jan, the day they actually parked!

That's right Boat_to_Bolivia. I have the VAT receipt but the session date is incorrect.

As I understand it the OP says the VAT receipt shows the 26th not the 27th of Jan, the day they actually parked!

The OP has also stated they have evidence from Ringo they paid for the session on 27th:

RingGo has also come back and said: "Our Technical Team has now confirmed this location is ANPR camera operated and the cameras will record you going in and out of the car park. Our Technical Team have checked and shows the parking session being paid on 27/01/2023 and nothing for 26/01/2023, so maybe a problem with the ANPR technology.
Which is surely what the OP wants, the argument is about an unpaid session on 27/01/2023 Ringo is surely confirming in that email it was paid.
This should also be evidenced in the receipts on the app as it must be the same data accessed by the "Technical Team".
However this all seems strange, and is likely to result in a typical impasse, PPC's never admit they are wrong, the BPA side with their PPC paymaster, POPLA won't get it, and only the SCC will look at it with any impartiality.
@loulizbutt can you post a redacted copy of the "receipt" you have mentioned?

    Here is the RingGo receipt

Right is that exactly what it says in your records in the app in all honesty the date of issue in my records all correspond immediately with the parking event, that invoice does not look right at all.

As @fisherjim says does that Vat receipt you have posted correspond with what the Ring App says?

The app has the same data as the receipt but my vehicle wasn't there on the 26th, and I didn't pay on the 26th. I dispute the accuracy of RingGo's data.
