Piggers if things are as you have been told, I wouldn't be waiting until Monday to ring SS, I'd phone the police in a calm manner and ask for an urgent welfare check on them, and insist the police are let in to see them both and question, what they have eaten / drunk etcRound, I have deer wandering up the road some days in and out of gardens, plus about 3 or 4 partridges just wandering up and down. Hope the cow is suitably contained.Daily stuff doneCats driving me mad, again, they don't like the new box of food I have just opened, yet again, the producers must have changed some thing in the pouches. So they had biscuits, and are currently out side yet again. In order to escape the cats, wrapping themselves around my legs, walking all over the laptop etc, I went and watched training today. Today I have shampooed the carpet for bedroom we finished decorating last night. Dusted the room and I am in the process of dismantling 3 beds, moving them from one bedroom to the other and then putting them back together 👍. Gentle hugs for Valli x
Definitely agree re lifeboat crews, Kaz. I remember hearing the boats go out at Cromer beach when I was young, and it always sent a shiver down my spine that they were off to rescue someone in trouble.
Washing is twirling out in the sunshine. Car washed and gleaming, until I take it to work tomorrow. Greenhouse washed on the outside, the inside will be a job for another day. Soup made from the bits of cauliflower that years ago I would have thrown away. Fridge sorted and meal plan done for next week, although DH is out at least one night with work.
Probably should do some admin later but not sure I cba.7 -

Dog walked, dailies done with DHs help, downstairs hoovered, second of three wash loads in machine and I'm midway through making caramel shortbread.
Right, off to select a new book to read.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Hi all
Thank you for the clarification Round. We cant have random farm animals wandering around Flylady land, it's chaotic enough around here as it is.
I am officially in a grump. I felt like I spent most of the day yesterday cleaning and tidying and the house looks no better. I want to curl up with my book but there is a mountain of washing to put away, the car is filthy and yet again the utility room floor needs hoovering.
However, I have been out on my bike for an hour, been to the tip with DH to get rid of some garden rubbish, and called at Li@l for essentials, so some progress has been made today.
Welcome along Dfw38, there are usually biscuits somewhere, unless someone else has sneaked off with them.
Right, this isnt getting that car washed is it?10 -
YL.. sort the washing in to 'people' fold and each person can put their own stuff away.Car, leave it for a week, it will be just as bad next weekend, even if you do clean it this weekend as it is bound to rain.Hoover uitlity rooms floor for 5 mins only, if it is still in need of hoovering, do it next week.So right 15 mins work max, and you can read your book for the rest of the afternoon. A good 4 hours by my reckoning.Time for you, other stuff can wait. The same for everyone else, it is afternoon off, me / family time, read, walk, watch telly, watch birds / cows!
eat, take kids biking and so on.

I have done this from mine being born and the older ones would put away their own and a smaller ones until they were about 3/4 and could do it themselves.
The car doesn't care about a bit of dirt.. and I'd check the forecast before washing it. OH and Pixie did ours yesterday.. if you want to pop the car round here they will do yoursIt is the special daddy/pixie time.
Shopping done for the next 2 weeks.. just bread/milk/cucumber/fruit to buy
hotdogs and noodles tonight.. as requested by Pixie.. sounds gross but who am I to argue. They choose whatever they want on a weekend but during the weekend I just make what they will eat so weekends get a bit mad.. they do learn what does and does not work together though.

Kaz I wish I had read this sooner. I have just sat down with a glass of wine by the fire. Absolutely bushed. Today I have:
- stacked loads of wood
- chopped a bit of wood then my arm really started to hurt so I stopped
- fed animals and children several times
- washed dogs bedding
- kitchen sofa cushion covers in wash now
- FUPA 3 loads of washing
- nipped to Lidl & home bargains for some things (if a 25 mile round trip to them can be classed as nipping! And that’s the nearest shop!)
- went to the tip
- 2 hour shift at paid stuff
- various texts and emails for paid stuff
- food order done for paid stuff
- plans made to deliver eggs tomorrow
I have some fish in the oven for me. I need to shove more coal on the fire.Big hugs to each and every one of you. My wonderful pals xxx10
