@Christmasshopper2 welcome along! Well the idea is that we all tick off our weekly lists as we go along and on a weekend we relax with our feet up. However for most of us that never happens so most of use the weekend to catch up on things we didnt have time to do during the week as well as spending time with family and doing the million and one other things that life throws us.
So, no, there isnt an official list on a weekend x
Nice leisurely start here, yoga done, DW emptied, 1 load of washing on the line and one in the machine. Going to drag Henry upstairs in a minute. I will throw a few sticks for ASB's black dog on my way.
Need to look at finance spreadsheets and make a shopping list, need to have a trip to Li@l, probably tomorrow. On and the car needs washing.

Sorry, I am struggling to get the hang of this. I only started on Monday. Any help will be greatly appreciated please.
We have weekends off because we deserve a rest and time with our families and doing what we love!
Start with just level one each day.. if you get through that quick and want to do more continue to level 2.. don't do everything all at once it makes you lose the will to do anything at all and you give up.
I aim for level one .. and rarely get to it because I have 1000 other things. The lists are just a guide to what others are doing, I tend to do the most pressing jobs in my hovel and try to battle through that and if something off the list gets done it is either coincidence or a miracle!
We didn't go to the outlaws.. so I have other stuff I can get done I am thankful for.. I made OH ring yesterday, apparently they all have a cold but when they were thinking of letting us know I have no idea.. this is the second time in a row they have said to not go .. I am incredibly suspicious there is abuse and neglect going on and they don't want us to see.. I feel an ad hoc visit coming on!
Darn it.. I just ripped off the skin on my finger.. it's had crispy eczema on for about 3 weeks and I just ripped off the skin.. now it hurts.. such an idiot.

Who stole my morning??!
Sticks being thrown at ASB’s BD from here too.
Ionafan - are you ok? Do you need to get that bp checked out? x
HHI (all DH’s, another thing on the list of Things That Need to Change when he retires), bathroom cleaned after a fashion, friends came round for coffee. I really ought to run the vacuum cleaner around upstairs, but then the green bin needs filling too…
Ha, ha, ha - am I supposed to actually achieve level 1 - any level one - in a week? 🤣 How many years and I am still to get the hang of this flying lark! Stick with us, @Christmasshopper2.7 -

OH washed the pots.. so When he takes Pixie out to wash the car I will wash them so they are clean. He was washing mugs in greasy cold water he had washed plates in .. and he slops water all over the kitchen.. there is just no need. I might not like doing it but I like having to redo it and clean up 10 times as much mess much less!

he still hasn't lifted down the boxes I asked to 3 hours ago!! I will just go injure my bones doing it myself..
I have perused ideas for making an 'office corner' in our room but I think he may have to be moved downstairs until someone moves out. I will reshuffle the upstairs and see what I can concoct.. I have priced up a mattress for Moomin, a huge wardrobe for my room to replace 2 lots of drawers and act as a room divide to make an office corner for him. I need to be in shuffling laundry while he is in there working and I cannot be seen on the screen.. Fortunately I am good at what I do and will sort something
We still need to get rid of toys but they don't seem to have anything we can fling.. yet they never look at any of it.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
So the back pain turned out to be a UTI which landed me in hospital for two days
Feeling slightly ropey still but a bit better than I was in the middle of the week! I've managed to get on with some tidying today (just folding clothes whilst sat down and moving bits around, nothing too taxing) and have started to prep my veggies to go in the freezer. OH then pointed out that we have filled the freezers (we have two undercounter ones) and there's no room at all for meal prep or batch cooking despite the whole point of our big Mr S shop being to get things for batch cooking.
So now I'm trying to persuade him we need a third freezer.£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January7 -
A cow just ran past my house.
Not something I expected to say. Ever.
Apart from that: same old, same old. I've washed 2 loads and draped them on the airer, fed the birds, put out the rubbish and recycling.....

What? Hang on, a cow??? We need more information Round, I dont think you live somewhere where this would be expected. Did you go after it or try to find out what was going on?
Sorry Kaz, I do know what you mean, but I have a vision of you down on your knees with sandpaper trying to take the rough edges off your drive.
Funny day, did quite a bit of flying but wasnt very enthusiastic. Not sure where the day has gone really.
Glad you are on the mend Kissmenow and Pigpen yes sadly it sounds like a surprise visit would be a good idea.
Tired tonight. Fire lit and I have some birthday chocolate and wine.
