YORKSHIRELASS said:What? Hang on, a cow??? We need more information Round, I dont think you live somewhere where this would be expected. Did you go after it or try to find out what was going on?
I have no idea where the cow came from. There aren't any close by. There are Highland coos at the other end of the next village along....but the escapee didn't look Highland to me. It was trotting along on the pavement. Clever coo. I didn't go after it as I saw some young neighbours heading after it. FB posts said it went through a nearby estate and headed for the fields behind. Hope it stays away from the roads poor thing must be terrified.
Waves to Dfw38 👋
Love to all

I live rural, but have never (yet, I don’t like to discount anything anymore) seen a cow running past. Horses, yes.
Green bin filled. Yay! Upstairs vacuumed. I have excelled myself today, but then my standards are known to be low. Slothdom calls…
Hello, Dfw38 👋. Welcome, from a fellow declutterer!
Pigpen, hugs, although you don’t do them. That sounds like it is going to be a tough ride.7 -
I managed to summon enough spoons to go and meet my new volunteers but spent most of the rest of the day dozing on the sofa and am now in bed.

Hello roundtuit and fayolle 🖐😚.
A cow sounds exciting! Hope it gets home safely!
Dh has just finished the wallpapering wahoo! Only taken a week to get him started 😂 and took him just under 2 hours with my assistance.
Excited to start flylady on Monday, used to follow the official website but the amount of emails and work involved were really disheartening and had the opposite effect.... oops! Think I belong in slothdom with you fayolle 😁2024 decluttering Campaign

Head sloth here, did I get past the kitchen list?
- went for a lake swim
- went to Li&l
- did some gardening
- filled bird feeders
- arranged flowers I got from Li&l
- did a bit of a report
- had a chat with SIL; DB and I have been leaving messages for each other for days; he was with a client when I rang, then when he rang me back I was doing a videocall with NZ friend. Will try again tomorrow. Rang another friend.
- tried making some gf naan bread to go with the 30% off Indian meals I got from Li&l. Not too bad for a first attempt, will try it again some time.

Morning all.I have only just got up, must have been all the fresh air yesterday.
Dog walk and weeding a border are on the list today. Other than that, I don't know.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.5 -
Morning all,
I managed to avoid the WAC last night, hurrah! Maybe that’s why I have got up with a list in my head that might actually be started. As it isn’t raining, I think I ought to wash my car, even though the drive to work along country roads will mean that any sparkliness won’t last. The greenhouse is also grim, so I might take a mop to the outside of that. The house insurance renewal needs to be sorted - this is DH’s job, but he is making a mountain out of a molehill with it.
1 load in the wm, that kicks off my flying for today.
ASB - I too am obsessed with the programme, and have nearly run out of back episodes to watch. It is my guilty secret as DH rolls his eyes if I mention it - too close to home for him 🤣.
Dfw - welcome to our merry band of sloths! Narc0 - I never even got to the kitchen list. Was that Monday 😳?
Have a lovely day all. I’m off to make a second cuppa, if anyone cares to join me x7 -
Having gone to bed early I’ve managed to stash some spoons. Still got joint discomfort, rather than actual pain, but I’ll probably take some meds when I get up, to keep it at this level.DW x 1 and WM x 1, towels to peg out.
Hope you all feel better than me 😂Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I'm dressed. Definitely on a go slow so I'm not weeding. Once dailies and washing are sorted and the dog is walked it's officially read a book day. I think.....Spend less now, work less later.9
