Here is my experience...I have the 350mb broad band with Virgin for £18/month (negotiated and managed to get it 8 months ago for 18 months). Received the price rise email last week telling me my monthly rent will go up to £25. I contacted Virgin via what's app. The first adviser replied and to my surprise offered to discount my monthly rent to £9.70 till end of contract in December. No effort from me at all. I thought he was not serious but few hours later I received an email from Virgin confirming the new monthly rent of £9.70 starting from April 23. I was so surprised that I thanked him and ended the chat. Retrospectively I wish if I asked him to sign me on a new 18 months contract with the low rent.0

I’m a little confused as to the advice given that you can leave within 30 days of being notified of the increase which I’m been advised will take place from May 1st…..the email received also says in bold print that the increase won’t effect me until my current offer ends….I thought the expert of the contract was irrelevant?0
