I’ve been feeling a bit stagnant again and just waiting for something in my life to happen. I feel like I’m on pause but not sure what for if that makes any sense.
The biggest thing for me recently is I took a jump and started looking at my finances,I put the numbers in an online calculator and I’ve just received a mortgage in principle 😱 The end goal is finally here and I’m going to start looking for my first home next spring. I can’t believe I can finally do it!
The next few months will be saving really hard for all the extra fees etc that come and honestly I’m chomping at the bit to get going but need to really do this all carefully and slowly. I am so excited

I finally have some time off work🥳 I am now off until the 24th so my goals are to get cracking on some overdue house tasks.
I had a patio door cover over the summer that was stopping the mozzies from entering but allowed me to keep the doors open, it worked a treat but as it was stuck on with Velcro it’s left a sticky residue all around the frame so I am going to try and tackle that first.
I also want to clear out some bits from the spare room.
I’ve had a couple of regular savers matured this month and rather than open new ones I’ve decided to start just throwing it into my ISA, that way I can gradually get my deposit into one place and it will make life easier if or when the time comes to buy a place.
