I haven’t looked at anything properly in detail regarding getting a mortgage yet, I’d like to have at least another year / 18 months to just save. My defaults will be gone at the end of the year and then I’d like 6 months for my credit report to reflect those changes.

I am back to work tomorrow and I dread to think how many emails I will have to get through! It’s been a spendy few days off, I’ve been back to dentist as the new filling seems to have cracked the tooth below it so that was £150.
The poor dogs allergies are back so that was £180 in meds for him and today my trusted hoover has just blown up! 🙄

This hoover was a Miele cat and dog and it was a powerhouse! It was amazing for picking up the dog hair so I’m currently at a loss on what to do.. It looks like this model has been discontinued and their latest model is in the £400 range🫨 That’s insane!

so I’m thinking of getting an Henry but will have a shop around and see what else is out there. An expensive couple of days!

I’ve got 3 fluffies and use the Shark anti hair wrap vacuum. It manages to do a great job.

I completely forgot that I added a house fund pot at the start of the year, I have only been putting £35 a month into it but it means I have £100 to put towards the hoover which is great. If I get the Henry then I only have to spend another £40👍

That’s good you’re very close. I have to admit that I detest Henry’s. They get stuck on door frames and ‘peep’ at you, then they don’t have brushes so you end up doing the slipper shuffle to get the hair up.

I have a Henry and he does have a pretty useful brush nozzle attachment thingy. Super strong suction which works well in our house too (although RIP to all the LEGO pieces that we’ve lost to him). I would like to counter-argue that he’s not annoying to use, but yep - you’re completely accurate with your description. Especially the peeping round corners he’s got stuck on 🤣

😂 Sounds like it’s going to pee me off pretty quickly! I was just worried about having to do the stairs as it is going to be a lot heavier than my last one and it’s bulky too so not sure how it sits on the stairs as you are going up or down

I had a lovely relaxing weekend, I finished my jigsaw puzzle which always feels so good, my back and legs are not thanking me for it though! I really need to think about getting a better board/table for them as sitting on the floor is no longer fun

I’m still undecided about the hoover, my head is saying Henry for the cost but after doing the puzzle this weekend I’m wondering if my body is going to not thank me for that either. I need to get something soon as the cloud of fluff is starting to build and there’s only so much I can pick up with my feet

another vote for the sharp. Henry is my nemesis. Do not like them at all. However if I was buying a hoover now I would probably buy a robot one plus a cheap thing for the stairs. My friend got one last year and I’m sold on the idea now.
