Slowly managing to break it down bit by bit, it does say i had £592 left however i did not add the work on the car at the start of the month, i also know there are a few items on my spreadsheet that i categorised as groceries but in fact was Misc purchases not food so still work to be done.Save £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28

I should count this at time going in the right direction for once rather than time going backwards!
My Virgin Contract ends this month so will be working to get that down or move provider this weekend, i also have a dispute open with Thames water regarding my usage (I can't see how i use that much water when i live alone)Save £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28

Virgin wouldn’t budge enough on price for me to continue with them so I have cancelled, I’ve done this twice before and a week later they have called and magically found a deal that suits me so we shall see. If not I have a package with Sky that will fit and is £39 a month including Netflix so may just go with that. I hate how they have changed to 24month contracts now, I thought 18 month was bad enough!
last week until payday so just going to start preparing budget for next month. I’m not a sun person so with the weather forecast next week it’ll mean I will not be inclined to pop out to shops so that’s a win.Save £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28

I hope Virgin come back with a deal that is acceptable to you but if not, it's good that you have another deal to take up.Fingers crossed for a good outcome with the water dispute.1

So much can happen in 24 months. I particularly dislike it when they can increase the price in that time you're tied in too (V have done thay to us) - I know inflation etc etc but just feels like you have no controlNov/Dec 24 £39 564

Just got my £100 nationwide fairer share bonus which has gone straight to emergency pot for the car next week so that’s a little win.
I’m struggling with this heat, I’ve never been a sun worshipper but it’s stopping me from going out and spending anything lol. I purchased a portable air con unit back in 2020 and I have never looked back. It comes out a few times each year and yesterday was the day so at least last night I slept well. Couldn’t be without one nowSave £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28

One of my R/S matured today as well so a good day financially!
I have used £200 to open another and the rest has gone into emergency savings in preparation for the car next week. I really hope there will be some left over after 😂Save £12k in 2025 #32Make £2025 in 2025 #28

Another payday has come round so today all the spreadsheets get reset, i have had a brief glance and it looks like all my pots have got a surplus this month apart from Amazon and food. The Amazon I can understand as I had to buy a new lawnmower and if I hadn’t of bought that I’d have been bang on my £100 budget.
food…well I know how that has happened too, Aldi’s middle isle got me last weekend 😂
Garage rang yesterday and my parts haven’t arrived so that has been rescheduled to Wednesday now. I really want that all done and dusted as then I can throw any left over funds into a new easy access savings account I’ve just set up.
savings were good last month and I cashed out a lot of extras like surveys etc so that totalled an extra £240 I have put towards the car.
