help needed please regarding planned holiday

booked a holiday with on the beach , have only paid £60 deposit, date i booked i cant go. have tried to cancel but they say i have to pay flights in full which total £940  is this right ?

    More than likely - what did your agreement say when you booked ? Presumably you paid on a 'low deposit' offer in which you agreed to pay the remainder of non-cancelable costs if you chose to cancel

    Is your 'can't go' for an insurable reason and do you have insurance ?  
  • When are you due to go? Can they not change the dates for you which would cost but not as much as cancelling. If you cant go for a medical reason then you are possibly covered by your insurance.

    If the flights have been booked and they are non-refundable then this is correct
    worth reading section 10 of the t&cs you accepted

    As others say, if they are non-refundable (as most are) then this is correct.

    Check the terms of your ticket.

    That's the downside of booking with companies like this instead of with a company that operates their own flights like EasyJet, Jet2 and TUU.
