Thanks Coupon-mad, I will remind them; they sent me the link to Greg Knight's Delivering Fairer Parking but I will add a PS. Hopefully it will come into effect very shortly and take into account those in limbo atm...1

GOOD NEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So my MP wrote to GXS basically forwarding on my email with all the details, stating that I had appealed to GXS in the first instance when we received the PCN back in December, without reply.
This is GXS' response:"Dear
"I have looked at the PCN issued, they person concerned parked on private land, there are 7 spaces allocated for authorised vehicles, there are 9 signs in a very small area explaining in detail that the land is private, going as far as to expressly state it was not a Co op site.
(They have added many more since December)
"Looking at the appeal reply, frustratingly it appears the text to the letter did not send, only the photographic evidence, I am at a loss as to how the letter was sent as it is impossible to forward a reply without certain fields being completed, a tech glitch I assume.
(This presumably my appeal, sent immediately, which was acknowledged but not replied to)
"I have had to cancel the PCN, you may wish to tell your constituent that is may be wise to read the signage and respect the terms and conditions and the landowners wish that unauthorised vehicles should refrain from parking.
"I have attached some images that clearly show the signage on site. Regards, GXS Services"
So thank you CM for advising me to write to my MP in the first instance and thank you to everyone for their contributions and patience and support.

Nicely seen off!
Well pushed for, @shazzamma
Now, we need YOU to get involved. One favour please: don't go just yet...
We need you - as a genuine PPC victim of aggression, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt to add £70 on top of this rip-off PCN - to respond robustly to the Public Consultation on the level of parking charges and banning of the false added DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.
It will need consumer input (powerful voices) but change is afoot. It's taken about 5 years to get to this stage:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6333036/breaking-news-government-has-announced-the-statutory-code-of-practice-and-enforcement-framework/p1
And then the industry threw victims' money at it and blocked and delayed it - explained here:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/79310609/#Comment_79310609
Please now Bookmark BOTH threads and set up email alerts on your posting profile, so that you get an email alert when we post there, as we will, once the Public Consultation opens.
...anticipated very soon...end of July we think.
We need people like you and your driving family & friends to respond in high numbers. Separately please.
You have a personal story to tell about the culture of greed that encourages unfair parking charges to be issued in high numbers and I am sure you want your voice heard to stop this happening again.
See you late July/August.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
