    If you only want a colourful chicken, why not roast it without foil that way you'll get crispy, golden skin.

    If you want to add a bit of flavour - use some mild Jamaican Jerk - Schwartz do one and I can recommend it.

    As for gravy - Bisto granules are fine if you live on your own. Or you could get some gravy browning, cornflour and use meat juices and vegetable water to make your own.

    Not really a fan of oxo personally, not allowed a lot of salt and there's far too much in oxo for me.
  • :eek::eek::eek:Just read this OMG.
    I had thought it was odd last few weeks as Sainsburys did not stock it,so have called up number also,and told the lady that would now buy nothing as do not like Bisto!Company owns the two so they have chosen one to sell for now.
    I make my own at times though always handy if you are in a rush.
    Local shop where I go sells it so will go and buy a couple :rotfl:before it runs out:eek:

    Hmm.

    Single-post poster announcing something in a standard post (Google the first line) on many different message boards, with no official notice on the main Oxo site and no news coverage whatsoever? Not even on the BBC, which would presumably run it as a doomsday story about the economy falling to pieces as a result?

    I call hoax. If I'm wrong then I'd appreciate an official link supporting the

    Thought it was odd also though called the number and told the same:eek:

    Would they still be advertising it on their websites if they were withdrawing it?

    The only "cheat" gravy worth using is Anthony Worrall-Thompson's gravy paste. It's gorgeous. Those granules are revolting and I've no idea why anyone would use bisto or oxo, they're disgusting!
