BRING BACK OXO
OXO granules have been discontinued, premier foods own both oxo and bisto, aparently oxo granules are not as popular as bisto so they are no longer going to make oxo gravy granules.
I phoned them today and they said if enough people ring 0800 374 342 they will bring it back. They said all calls are being passed onto head office and they are getting loads ringing up.
They also said they have stopped making this range as they now do sachets with extra bits in, no good to put on your chips! (http://www.oxo.co.uk/products/gravy_sachets.php)

I prefer Bisto. The granules dissolve quicker with less lumps.
Sorry.

Hmm.
Single-post poster announcing something in a standard post (Google the first line) on many different message boards, with no official notice on the main Oxo site and no news coverage whatsoever? Not even on the BBC, which would presumably run it as a doomsday story about the economy falling to pieces as a result?
I call hoax. If I'm wrong then I'd appreciate an official link supporting the above.Anything I post here is purely my own personal opinion. As such it may be wrong, poorly worded or written very tongue-in-cheek. Please therefore treat it the same way you should treat anything you read on the internet from an unknown person - with a healthy pinch of salt and scepticism!0 -
lol I love OXO! Maybe Martin Lewis should send out an urgant message to all his subscribers!0

Maybe they could make it without MSG, for those of us who have some awareness!.....0

If you only want a colourful chicken, why not roast it without foil that way you'll get crispy, golden skin.
If you want to add a bit of flavour - use some mild Jamaican Jerk - Schwartz do one and I can recommend it.
As for gravy - Bisto granules are fine if you live on your own. Or you could get some gravy browning, cornflour and use meat juices and vegetable water to make your own.0
