Hi All, 

Some great news this morning. I received an email from DCBL confirming "Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records". 

What an achievement. Thank you to all of you for support, guidance and help. Although a part of me remains disappointed as they got almost £600 from me against 2 other claims which I was unable to defend due to an overseas trip.

I still have another pending case which was also transferred to Manchester court on 8th August as per MCOL but I have not received any letters. Who should I chase?

I don't think it needs chasing after a mere 4 weeks.  Manchester will write.
