    It really doesn't matter, though.

We already knew what a standard PCM sign looks like, and they always state that!

Doesn't make it a fair (enforceable under the CRA 2015) term - and the Government agrees with me on that.

We know this because the new incoming statutory Code of Practice includes in the Appeals Charter, a clause requiring parking firms to cancel all PCNs where retrospective permit evidence is produced.

Reflecting contractual reality rather than the la-la land of the PPC world.

Just advising that I’ve had the usual follow up letter reminding me to pay or debt collectors etc.

Any advice on how I can hurry them to court stage so as not to waste time receiving the debt letters?

Also is it worth complaining to the land owners again or useless at this point?

You cannot hurry them along.  Always worth complaining to landowner/landholder; if you have complained before with no result, try to use a different/stronger argument.

@ParkingMad advocates sending a reply telling them to 'put up or shut up' and proceed straight to LBC and a claim if they believe there is a cause of action, and not to pass the keeper's personal data to a thug debt collector nor add the soon-to-be-banned false £70 'extortion'.

The "thugs" have now gotten involved - TRACE, who I'm sure everyone knows of!

As discussed I've ignored them but would like to start getting my defence ready for court as I've not taken one this far before and I genuinely believe I have grounds to win this one.

If there a resources for court defence prep in another thread please feel free to point me to them so as not to bother anyone with having to write anything here, thanks!

Evening all! Been a while but finally received the Letter Before Court from the infamous Gladstone.

I’ll take a look at the Template Defence sticky thread.

While preparing said defence, any reply necessary to Gladstone?

You aren't at court claim stage so no defence needed yet.  You are at LBC stage same as hundreds of others here recently:

If you want extra time, tell Gladstones that whilst you deny the debt, you are seeking debt advice so require the case to be put on hold for 30 days as per court pre-action protocol. Do this around day 25 from the date of the LBC/LOC.

Complain again to the landowner/MA and warn them that since they are responsible for the actions of their agents who are in the process of instigating court proceedings against you, you require the contact details of their legal department, names of the people who will be appearing in court, and dates they will not be available for court in the next twelve months.
